Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez might have split from longtime fiancé, Riley Roberts, months before starting her public egg-freezing journey.
The pair reportedly got engaged in April 2022. However, New York Post reported that the New York representative has been spotted in recent months without her engagement ring.
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Riley Roberts Spark Split Rumors

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez reportedly hasn't worn her engagement ring in a long time.
Per the outlet, the pair was last spotted together publicly at a burger place in Manhattan in May. However, her “zero emission” engagement ring, which she claimed was crafted from “recycled gold,” was absent from her finger during the outing.
One insider speculated that their alleged split might have stemmed from AOC’s increasingly ambitious political aspirations, particularly as she is reportedly considered a frontrunner in the 2028 Democratic presidential nomination race.

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez's political ambitions might have put a strain on her relationship with Riley Roberts.
Reports also suggested that she could choose to run for the U.S. Senate instead of the presidency.
The outlet also noted that several other Democratic Party sources pointed out the 36-year-old has not worn her engagement ring for a while. Additionally, Roberts, too, has been absent from her House financial disclosure for years.
The last time he was included was in 2022 when the pair took a trip to Italy. The congresswoman referred to him as her “spouse” at the time so that they could reportedly have some lodging and dining expenses covered as gifts.

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s Recent Remarks Fueled Split Speculation

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Riley Roberts got engaged in 2022.
The Boston University College of Arts & Sciences graduate fueled split rumors during a recent interview.
When asked whether Roberts was “supportive of” her egg-freezing journey, she gave a cryptic reply, saying, “All of my loved ones have been very supportive.”
Her documentation of the journey so far, too, did not include a single mention of the web designer. The couple reportedly started dating in college before breaking up and reconnecting in 2015, per Daily Mail.

A Democratic source alleged that Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez might not have liked Riley Roberts.
The To the End star also gushed about her partner in a previous interview with GQ, saying that he is “so supportive and willing and deeply engaging” as a partner.
Ocasio-Cortez said in a press statement after confirming their engagement in 2022 that they were “taking some space to savor this time before diving into planning” for their nuptials.
Another Democratic insider told NY Post that Roberts seemed like an “awkward guy as a partner for a dynamic woman.”
“Whenever he was around at events, he never spoke,” the source said, before adding, “No one thought she actually liked him.”
