Mike Johnson Is Confident He'll Find His Wife On 'Instagram Or TikTok,' Doesn't Know If Being The Bachelor 'Is The Right Thing For Me'

Even though Mike Johnson won over fans on The Bachelorette, the reality star believes he will meet his other half — on social media!
“I feel like I will find my wife on Instagram or TikTok one day,” the Bachelor in Paradise alum exclusively tells OK! while promoting his partnership with Schick Hydro, which shaves up to seven days of stubble with less tugging and pulling for a comfortable shave.
Despite being in a pandemic, the 33-year-old is on a mission to find love. “I told Ashley [Iaconetti] last night, 'I need to find my wife.' I 100 percent am not trying to be a bachelor forever,” he reveals. “I find that two people focused on one goal can live life beautifully, and that is what I desire.
“And then, what I am looking for quite honestly is someone who has a passport, someone who is so spirited and so passionate and they have a backbone,” he adds.
However, don’t expect Johnson — who starred on Hannah Brown’s season in 2019 — to hand out roses in the near future.

When asked if he would want to be the leading man of the show one day, he says: “First and foremost, it’s still so humbling, quite honestly. I never even went on TV to become the Bachelor. I truly didn’t know that was a position. I still have not been given an answer as to why I wasn’t and I don’t know that is the right thing for me.”

In the meantime, Johnson is not looking to fill in Chris Harrison's shoes, either, after the host defended Rachael Kirkconnell for attending an “Old-South”-themed party in 2018.
"I would absolutely marvel at the opportunity to be a host of some show, I don’t know if me being the Bachelor is the right thing," he says.
"I think that Emmanuel Acho is doing a wonderful job for the After the Final Rose and I would love to see how everything works out for him," he adds, referring to the football player who is taking over for Harrison in the interim.
