Bradley Cooper 'Hates All The Publicity' Ex Irina Shayk Is Getting After The Model Steps Out With Kanye West
Bradley Cooper may not mind that his ex Irina Shayk is involved in a new romance — but he does have an issue with all of the attention the 35-year-old is getting now that she's stepped out publicly with Kanye West.
"Bradley is happy that Irina is dating," a source explained after West and Shayk were spotted in Provence, France, on Wednesday, June 9. "What he’s not happy about is who she is dating. He hates all the publicity she’s getting and will continue to get because she’s now with Kanye."
In fact, the notoriously private Hangover star, 46, is secretly hoping Shayk's budding relationship with West, 44, “fizzles out quickly” for the sake of the former couple’s 3-year-old. "It’s only a matter of time before [all of the hype] spills over into his daughter Lea’s life," a source explained. "[Bradley is] very protective of his daughter."
"Bradley knows better than anyone how a celebrity romance can get completely out of hand. His friendship with Lady Gaga is the perfect example," the source explained, referencing the rumors that circulated about the A Star Is Born costars enjoying an on-set romance. "Bradley was already concerned about Lea getting recognized or labeled for being his and Irina’s daughter. But now with Kanye, that’s an entirely different level of celebrity. He doesn’t want that for Lea."
Cooper is "already a very hands-on parent to Lea," and now "he’s going to step that up even more" and "be around her 24-7."

Meanwhile, Shayk has gotten the seal of approval from West's estranged wife Kim Kardashian. The 40-year-old filed for divorce from the rapper, with whom she shares North, 7, Saint, 5, Chicago, 3, and Psalm, 2, in February.
"Kim knew that Kanye and Irina were dating," an insider noted, adding the two have "been quietly seeing each other for a couple of months."
"Kim doesn’t mind because she saw how quiet and respectful Irina was after she broke up with Bradley," the insider explained as the reality star "wouldn't like" to see her soon-to-be ex-husband with someone "who's going to talk to the press."
