Britney Spears Spotted Wearing Ring On Engagement Finger Hours Before Sam Asghari's Car Accident
Britney Spears was spotted rocking a ring on that finger while out with boyfriend Sam Asghari.
In photos obtained by the Daily Mail, the pair went for a coffee run to Starbucks on Monday, July 19 — but all eyes were on her newest jewelry accessory when she reached out to get her drink from the drive-thru.
The pair got together in 2016 when Asghari, 27, was cast in Spears' "Slumber Party" music video. As OK! previously reported, the 39-year-old told the court that under her strict conservatorship, she cannot get married or have any more children.
An OK! insider previously spilled that Spears has wanted to marry Asghari for years now. "This has been her heart’s desire for a long time," the insider shared. "Britney’s said her piece. Now she’s eager to move on and begin a new life with Sam — and have a baby."
"She thinks Sam will be a wonderful husband because he’s already a very loving and caring boyfriend, and she knows he’ll be a great dad," the insider added. Spears already shares sons Sean Preston, 15, and Jayden James 14 with ex-husband Kevin Federline.
The Crossroads actress' ring sighting came hours before Asghari was reportedly involved in a minor car accident. The fitness buff was involved in a crash with another woman around ten minutes away from Spears' Thousand Oaks home.

Asghari took to Instagram to explain what happened, and noted that while no one was hurt, people should take accidents like that as a sign they didn’t get caught up in anything worse.
He admitted in the clip that the crash was his fault. "As long as you're okay and the other person is okay, this is fine," he said, before showing himself reversing over an egg in a driveway to counteract any bad luck.
Meanwhile, Spears has been given permission to hire her own attorney after her court-appointed attorney Samuel Ingham III resigned earlier this month, and she landed on Mathew Rosengart. Last week, Spears asked the court that her dad, Jamie Spears, be removed from the conservatorship and investigated.
Days after the legal win, Asghari was spotted out in Los Angeles, where he reportedly told photographers that he was "so happy" and is "always going to support [Britney] in whatever she wants."
Neither Spears or Asghari have publicly commented on the engagement rumors.
