Doctor Chelsea Handler is in.

The comedian, 51, had a unique solution to clear out her friend Jenny Mollen's ear while enjoying a summer getaway on August 23.

In an Instagram video, Mollen wore a blue and white bikini as she lay across a wooden table in front of stunning European views.

"I am not a doctor, but I sort of am. When I get water in my ear, vodka clears the path. Friends build trust over time," Handler captioned the post.

Chelsea handler poured vodka down Jenny Mollen's ear.

Handler approached Mollen with a chilled bottle of vodka, prepared to pour it down her water-clogged crevice, though unnamed voices behind the camera did not seem sold on the idea.

"Oh my god, did you ChatGPT this or..." one voice asked. "ChatGPT said this is unsafe."

"This is a terrible idea," another added.

Despite her friends' echoes of concern, Mollen was all smiles and appeared completely prepared to allow Handler to pour the spirit straight into her head.

"Don't use ChatGPT. People are dying from ChatGPT," the comedian scolded. "I've done this to a bunch of people. I promise you it will work."

Chelsea Handler referred to herself as a 'doctor' in her social media post.

"I'm positive, I'm a doctor," she added, pouring the beverage down her friend's ear as Mollen let out a shriek.

The actress and writer sat up and noted she felt sizzling in her head, which Handler guaranteed would soon have the water dissipating from the inside of her ear.

"Success, you're a genius," the friends gushed.

Chelsea Handler and Jenny Mollen went on a girl's trip to Mallorca.

Surprisingly, many commenters were on board with Handler's makeshift procedure, even chiming in with hacks of their own to clear out water after splashing around in the ocean all day long.

"My mom is a nurse and used to do this in our ears as kids when we’d swim day and couldn’t get water out… because well, all she had in the cooler was tequila," one person commented.

"This is a great use of chemistry and physics! Alcohol has a much lower surface tension than water," another added. "The added alcohol makes the water stop sticking to itself and stubbornly staying stuck in your ear and enables it to flow out with gravity."

"Gotta get you to switch to bourbon. Not only will it clear out the ear, but it’ll also make you invincible," a third joked. "Trust me, I’m a (juris) doctor."

A 'Major Shift'

Jenny Mollen wrote about her trip with Chelsea Handler on Substack.

The friends appeared to be enjoying a girls' trip to Mallorca in celebration of the end of summer. Mollen wrote about the "mystical" trip in a recent Substack post.

"My friend Chelsea swore that Mallorca was a mystical island, and that everyone who comes to stay experiences some sort of major life shift," she penned, noting that she'd been three times in her life.

The writer uploaded photos of herself and Handler walking arm-in-arm down the streets and grinning in selfies as they embraced their "major shift."
