Cynthia Bailey Announces She's Leaving 'Real Housewives Of Atlanta' After 11 Seasons
The end of an era — and then some! After starring on Real Housewives of Atlanta for 11 seasons, Cynthia Bailey is turning in her peach.
On Monday, September 27, the 54-year-old took to Instagram and shared a statement with her 3.5 million followers. “After much thought and consideration, I have made the very difficult and heartfelt decision not to return for the next season of Real Housewives of Atlanta,” the former model began. “Thank you NBC Universal, Bravo, and Truly Original for over a decade of partnership. I can’t wait to see what we do next!”
“Thank you to my Real Housewives of Atlanta castmates for eleven of the most unbelievable years of my life; and the most incredible & UNFORGETTABLE memories!” Bailey continued. “I am so grateful to have had this amazing journey, and I am anxiously waiting to embark on new adventures.”
Of course, Bailey shared a special shoutout to her loyal fans: “I could not have done it without your blessings, love, and support. Without the fans, none of this would be possible. I love and appreciate all of you.”
“It’s time to move on to my next chapter, and I look forward to sharing it with all of you,” she added, before signing off, “Cynthia Bailey-Hill💫.”

OK! previously reported that Bailey — who married Mike Hill in October — and costar Porsha Williams would not be returning to the Bravo series for season 14.
During an exclusive interview with OK! in July, Bailey hinted that the 13th season of RHOA would be her last, noting she's “had a great run."
"I’m at a good place where this could be my last season on the show. I’m happy, I’m married, I don’t have a lot of drama going on. I would be happy to share my married life with my fans and continue to build and repair relationships with my friends on the show," she told OK! at the time. "However, I’m kind of good.”
Fans of Bailey need not worry, however. In addition to her recurring role on BET's Games People Play, the TV personality will be featured on Peackcock's upcoming Real Housewives spinoff alongside Moore, RHONY’s Luann de Lesseps and Ramona Singer, RHONJ’s Teresa Giudice and Melissa Gorga, and RHOBH’s Kyle Richards.
