President Donald Trump defended Erika Kirk, the widow of MAGA influencer Charlie Kirk and current CEO of Turning Point USA, hitting back at her critics during an Easter lunch event at the White House on Wednesday, April 1.

During his speech, Donald paused to greet Erika, who was in the audience, and addressed the recent public criticism and parodies directed at her, including a viral one in particular by comedian Druski.

Druski recently released a viral parody video titled "How Conservative Women in America act," which many viewers — and reportedly the White House — interpreted as a direct mockery of Erika, though he also appeared to channel Florida Republican Kat Cammack.

Donald stated that critics are "so jealous of Erika," framing the negative attention she has received as envy rather than legitimate critique.

He explicitly advised her to "sue their a-- off," referring to those who have recently mocked or criticized her.

"I can say it; you’re not allowed to say this; you have to be nicer," the notoriously unfiltered president said, implying that while he can use aggressive language, she must maintain a more polished public image while still pursuing legal action.

Conservative commentator Candace Owens has publicly pushed conspiracy theories regarding the 2025 assassination of Charlie, which some have interpreted as casting suspicion on Erika.

Some users didn't feel bad for Erika Kirk.

Social media observers felt no sympathy for the widow.

“A. The TRUTH hurts, doesn’t it? Discovery would be even more painful. B. Parody is allowed. It’s called 'free speech.' I know you hate it. How is it that this P-- tries propping up all the absolutely slimiest scumbags? It’s pretty sickening. They’re all evil,” wrote one X user.

Another agreed, writing, “Being that it's comedy, Druski can do whatever the f--- he wants. He also never mentions her name. He said, ‘Republican women,’ and she decided to make it about herself. A Republican woman literally did exactly what Druski did days later. Maga is the party of hypocrites.”

Another commenter noted a different set of rules for Donald and his loyalists.

“They’re only doing this because they think they’re invincible. They surely are invincible on social media because social media allows them to do whatever they want, like the rules don’t apply to them, but they apply to everybody else,” they observed.

The president has embraced Erika following her husband's death, most recently appointing her to the U.S. Air Force Academy's Board of Visitors. This 16-member advisory panel oversees the academy's morale, curriculum, and finances, a move widely lambasted by critics on both sides of the aisle.

Others wondered whether the president understands the First Amendment.

“Has Trump even read the Constitution?” one wondered.

Another keen observer noted the president’s abysmal track record in lawsuits.

“Coming from the guy that has lost more lawsuits than any individual in American history,” they wrote.

The Trump administration faced extensive legal challenges, losing approximately 114 to 192 court rulings on policy actions during its term. Judges blocked or halted administration actions over 200 times, with a roughly 60 percent loss rate in lower courts.
