Under the Sea styles are taking over Hollywood.
Gianni Versace’s now iconic "Trésor de la Mer" Spring 1992 fashion show featured a dazzling display of sea-inspired details including embellished starfish, coral and seashell motifs.
Nearly three decades later, the Versace label revived The Little Mermaid-approved looks for its Spring 2021 collection, and celebrities are taking to them, shall we say... swingingly.
Back in November, Dua Lipa attended the 2020 American Music Awards, broadcasted from the Royal Albert Hall in London. Before picking up the award for Favorite Song in the Pop/Rock category for her hit "Don’t Start Now," the British superstar walked the red carpet wearing a Versace Spring 2021 bustier micro mini-dress featuring the colorful embellished starfish motif, gold embellished cups and flirty pink ruffle hem.
Gold platform ankle strap heels and glittery makeup completed the 25-year-old's '90s supermodel vibe.

Flash forward to the 2021 Critics Choice Awards on Sunday, March 7, when Algee Smith also dove into the whimsical Versace trend.
Although the red carpet had to be scaled down, due to the ongoing COVID-19 global pandemic, the Euphoria actor tuned in virtually. Posing for the 'gram ahead of the show, the stylish 26-year-old wore a bold Versace Spring 2021 bubblegum pink suit featuring an intricately crystal-embroidered starfish.
Styled by Enrique Melendez, Smith finished off his look with ultra-clean white sneakers and rings and necklaces from Alexandra Nova's label Layers Of Jewelry.
So who do you think wore the revived Versace starfish motif best?
