Eboni K. Williams Claims She & 'RHONY' Costar Leah McSweeney Are Just 'Friendly Colleagues'
Eboni K. Williams is giving an update on her friendship with Leah McSweeney.
Even though the pair seemed to be buddies ever since the former lawyer joined Real Housewives of New York City, their relationship is apparently more complicated than we thought.
During a game of “Sip and Tell” with S’More Date on Thursday, November 4, Williams seemingly admitted that the two women aren’t friends, despite coming across as good pals on the Bravo series.
Williams, 38, refused to take a sip of her drink after the host asked, “Are you and Leah still friends? If you’re friends, take a sip.”
The reality star responded, “Oh you’re messy. You are real messy. Leah and I are what we’ve always been: Friendly colleagues,” she said.
“So you’re not friends?” the host asked after the TV personality avoided taking a sip of her drink.
“Goodnight,” she quipped, teasing that she was about to leave the Instagram chat to brush off the question.
While the friendship status between the two costars isn’t totally clear, it’s safe to say there might be some tension after Williams’ comments.

It was previously reported that McSweeney and other RHONY cast members were avoiding Williams, after they allegedly made “a pact” to leave a party once Williams arrived, per Page Six.
“When Eboni entered from the right, they were all on the left and exited,” a source at the time said about McSweeney, Ramona Singer and Luann de Lesseps. “They fled as soon as she walked in.”
Williams and Singer have been known to butt heads on the Bravo series, after Williams revealed that the pair disagree on “basic principles of humanity.”
Meanwhile, it was recently reported that the show’s reunion special never happened because of an ongoing investigation into Williams’ claims that Singer was allegedly spewing racist comments.
It was later revealed that the Life On The Ramona Coaster author was accused of saying, “This is why we shouldn’t have black people on the show,” according to a source close to the show’s producers.
After the investigation delayed the cast getting together for the reunion, production staffers ultimately determined it was too late to move forward with filming for the special.
