Elliot Page Shares Shirtless Poolside Photo In 'First Swim Trunks' Since Coming Out As Transgender — See His Abs
Juno star Elliot Page showed off his first pair of swim trunks since he came out as transgender in December.
"Trans bb’s first swim trunks #transjoy #transisbeautiful," the 34-year-old captioned a picture of himself standing in a pool wearing a red pair of swim trunks.
The star also donned a gold chain, sunglasses and a hat while fans couldn't help but notice his toned abs and a big smile.
"OMG! Yes! and LOOK AT THAT SMILE!!! ❤️❤️❤️ 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽," Umbrella Academy costar Emmy Raver gushed.
"8 pack 😭❤️," Umbrella Academy star Ritu Ayra noted, while Miley Cyrus wrote, "Hot ❤️."
"You look amazing," Nina Dobrev said. "And most of all happy."
Page recently opened up to Oprah Winfrey on AppleTV+'s The Oprah Conversation, sharing that he felt "comfortable in my body for probably the first time."
Page came out in December with an emotional letter and said that his pronouns are he/they. "I can't begin to express how remarkable it feels to finally love who I am enough to pursue my authentic self," they wrote.

Since then, Page announced that he had top surgery (subcutaneous mastectomy) before officially coming out and was recovering at the time the note was published. Page described the procedure as "not only life-changing but lifesaving."
"I’m really excited to act, now that I’m fully who I am, in this body," he recently told Time. "No matter the challenges and difficult moments of this, nothing amounts to getting to feel how I feel now."
Page told Winfrey that the surgery gave him "euphoria in my body" and he was finally able to "look at myself in the mirror and feel good about what I see" as a result.
While Page only recently came out, he revealed to Vanity Fair that he knew he was a boy when he was a child.
"Every little aspect of my life, that is who I was, who I am, and who I knew myself to be. I just couldn’t understand when I’d be told, 'No, you’re not. No, you can’t be that when you’re older.' You feel it. Now I’m finally getting myself back to feeling like who I am, and it’s so beautiful and extraordinary, and there’s a grief to it in a way," they explained.
"My feelings aren’t really linear. I feel emerging joy and excitement one moment, and then in the next, profound sadness reading about people wanting to take gender-affirming health care away from children," Page explained of coming out.
He continued, "I feel so grateful to be at this place in my life, and I want to use the strength I have to help in all the ways that I can. The reason you and I have the privileges we have is because people have sacrificed so much for so, so, so long and put everything on the line."
Since then, Elliot and his wife, Emma Portner, have split up. The pair tied the knot in 2018 but separated last summer before they officially divorced early this year. However, they remain "close friends."
