No, Gwen Stefani & Blake Shelton Aren't Actually Married Yet — But They Sure Are Excited, Insider Spills
They haven't walked down the aisle just yet! Despite speculation that Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton have already tied the knot (a new ring was on her finger!), the two are not actually married yet. According to an insider, the lovers are still on Cloud Nine while they look forward to their upcoming wedding planned for this summer.
The source spilled that the happy couple is especially excited to have guests safely attend their wedding after waiting out the worst of the COVID-19 pandemic.
“Ever since they got engaged, they have both been adamant that no wedding will happen until it’s safe for family and friends to attend. Gwen expressed early on that she really wanted a summer wedding,” the source spilled. “She was upset earlier this year when it seemed to be no end in sight for the pandemic. She slowly started planning the wedding this spring though.”
The two lovebirds, who spent time together as judges on The Voice, officially announced their engagement on October 27, 2020, after almost five years of dating.
“They are both ecstatic that it can finally happen. They are getting married this summer. Gwen’s boys will be very involved,” the source told PEOPLE. “Blake is a great extra dad and very close with the boys.”

Stefani’s three sons — Kingston, 15, and Zuma, 12, and Apollo, 7 — whom she shares with ex-husband Gavin Rossdale, are apparently going to have a “large part” in the wedding.
“Gwen’s sons are just really solid, sweet kids, and they’re so excited for Gwen and Blake to get married,” another source close to Stefani said back in December. “They can’t wait to stand by their sides.”
The new update on the wedding planning comes just days after Stefani celebrated a bridal shower with her family. “I got kidnapped by my family to celebrate,” she said in a video. “I’m getting married!”
Just last month, Shelton joked about the wedding planning, imagining what it would look like if he were in charge of the big day.
“If I was picking our meal, it would just literally be everything fried,” he quipped to USA Today. “French fries, chicken tenders, you know, all of that stuff.
“I want her to do all of that stuff and handle it because it’s going to be great,” he continued. “She’s in the middle of planning the thing and she’s always so mindful...of me.”
