'The Most 'Rare' And Euphoric Birth': Halsey Welcomes Baby Ender Ridley With Boyfriend Alev Aydin
Halsey's bun is out of the oven!
The "Closer" singer and boyfriend Alev Aydin welcomed their first child together, baby Ender Ridley Aydin, on Wednesday July, 14. Halsey, born Ashley Nicolette Frangipane, announced the exciting news on Instagram one week later.
Halsey — who prefers to go by "she/they" pronouns— shared two adorable black-and-white photos of the family-of-three on Monday, July 18, with the first featuring the new mom holding Ender while lovingly looking at Aydin.
The second snap appeared to be a close-up of Halsey breastfeeding their newborn. "Gratitude. For the most 'rare' and euphoric birth. Powered by love," the 26-year-old captioned their post.
Halsey's celeb pals were quick to congratulate the happy parents, as Demi Lovato wrote: Congratulations!!!!" and Olivia Rodrigo commented, "the most beautiful family! congratulations❤️❤️❤️❤️."
Halsey announced the expected arrival of the couple's first child in late January — with them sharing stunning photos from the artist's pregnancy shoot while wearing a rainbow crop top and jeans — and has been very open about their journey to motherhood ever since.

One month after Halsey announced their pregnancy, they discussed the revelations they've made since becoming pregnant. "I've been thinking lots about my body. it's strange to watch yourself change so quickly. I thought pregnancy would give me very strong, binary feelings about 'womanhood' but truly it has leveled my perception of gender entirely," they shared in a February 18 Instagram post.
The "Bad At Love" singer "sees this as a miracle," an OK! source previously said of Halsey's pregnancy, following their struggles with endometriosis and history of miscarriages, noting the New Jersey native "literally can't stop cradling her bump."
Halsey also got candid about the their pregnancy struggles in the album notes for the musician's second studio album, Manic. The new mama explained how their tune "More" relates to their struggles with reproductive health, candidly sharing: "For a long time, I didn't think that having a family was something I was going to be able to do, and it's very, very important to me."
Luckily, Halsey appears to be on cloud nine with their blossoming family, as an OK! source previously dished, "Halsey couldn't be happier with the way everything's worked out and can't wait for her and Alev to become a family of three."
