The deeply personal and fawning letters written by White House aide Natalie Harp to President Donald Trump were leaked and published in full by journalist Michael Wolff, revealing an intense level of devotion that has alarmed West Wing staff and the Secret Service.
Originally discovered by staff members and later compiled by Wolff for his 2024 book, All or Nothing, the handwritten notes, dubbed by Wolff as “alarming,” feature Harp calling Trump her "guardian."
Wolff, who published the letters in their entirety on his “Howl” Substack, called them “heartsick” and “truly, madly, deeply intimate — and wholly inappropriate.”
The notes, written in Sharpie and left in Trump's private spaces, document a highly unusual dynamic for a professional government setting.
'You're All That Matters to Me'

Natalie Harp's letters to the president have been revealed.
In one letter, the 35-year-old assistant wrote, "You are all that matters to me. I don’t want to ever let you down. Thank you for being my Guardian and Protector in this life."
Following a trip to Trump's golf course in Scotland, Harp apologized for "embarrassing" behavior after she panicked over a transportation mishap.
She wrote, "I want things to always be right between us. I also know I’ve been distracted all week, forgetting to eat throughout the days and even forgetting to sleep."
Harp confessed to envying women "whose only job seems to be to talk with you and look pretty. I want that job!!"
She concluded one message by telling Trump he had the "absolute right to cuss me out, if need be, when I deserve it, because no one knows or cares about me more."
How Did Natalie Harp Get the Job?

The aide first connected with Donald Trump in 2019.
Harp, a former One America News anchor, first connected with Trump in 2019 when she publicly credited his "Right to Try" legislation with saving her life during her battle with stage 2 bone cancer. She eventually joined his staff as a special assistant and executive assistant, earning a $150,000 taxpayer-funded salary.
Colleagues have nicknamed her the "human printer" because she constantly shadows Trump with a portable printer and battery pack to feed him positive right-wing news headlines and printouts of his social media feeds.
The increasingly isolated POTUS reportedly values her absolute devotion, once telling staff that she is the only person who loves him as much as his own wife and children.
The letters have surfaced amid heightened scrutiny over Harp’s immense gatekeeping power.

Natalie Harp is loyal to the president.
Reports indicate she operates as a primary conduit to Trump, managing his social media accounts and even passing messages from foreign leaders.
Concerns intensify over revelations that she worked inside the White House for over a year without a formal security clearance after repeatedly declining to complete the required background paperwork.

Karoline Leavitt defended Natalie Harp.
The White House has fiercely defended her, with spokesperson Davis Ingle dismissing the letters as a "Fake News" distraction and calling Harp "one of the most loyal and hardest-working aides on President Trump's team."
“The letters written to the married president would make Jane Austen blush,” said Morning Joe co-host Willie Geist on Friday, August 21.
