Jenna Bush Hager called out her co-host's wife on live television after she found out about a shocking social snub.
Bush Hager, 44, was joined by Willie Geist on the August 7 episode of TODAY With Jenna and Sheinelle, but things quickly went downhill after the anchor mentioned his wife.
Geist briefly admitted that his wife and childhood sweetheart, Christina, likes to get together with a group of friends on Monday nights to play mahjong at her house.

Jenna Bush Hager and Willie Geist discussed his wife's mahjong game.
The casual spill of such privileged information immediately stopped Bush Hager in her tracks.
"What? Wait … excuse me?” she asked, shocked that this was the first she was hearing of the weekly tradition.
Immediately, Geist tried to backtrack, claiming that the group of women who came over for the game night lived very close by in the couple's New York neighborhood.
"It’s local, so far," he mumbled. "We haven’t expanded out."
'Call Me!'

Willie Geist decided to tease Jenna Bush Hager about the game night.
"Uh, I live within a 20-minute radius," Bush Hager fired back.
Geist even assured the host that she likely had an open invite to the ritual, but that didn't stop her from addressing his wife directly through the television screen.
"Teeny? Teeny, I’d like to just say, who introduced you to mahjong? It was me!" she taunted. "Who taught you the Charleston and such? Call me!"

Jenna Bush Hager threatened to contact Savannah Guthrie about the matter.
Bush Hager ridiculed Geist for accidentally letting such a vital piece of information slip, noting that he "didn't know what [he was] getting into."
"I shouldn't have. I couldn't get it back," he said regretfully.
But then, Geist decided to lean into the joke, teasing Bush Hager for the amount of FOMO she clearly already had about the mahjong festivities.
"It's turned into a big social evening..." he quipped. "There are hundreds of women. She doesn't even know most of them. It's just an open invite she puts on social media."
Savannah Guthrie Gets Involved

Savannah Guthrie is a fellow mahjong enthusiast whose mother played as well.
By the end of the conversation, Bush Hager threatened to contact her friend and fellow mahjong enthusiast, Savannah Guthrie, about their snub from engaging in the weekly occasion.
"I'm going to text Savannah right after this," the mom-of-three stated flatly. "I'm glad my phone ringer is on."
The friends did a segment about mahjong last summer, encouraging their viewers to dip their toes into the social table game, People reported. Guthrie's now-missing mother, Nancy Guthrie, even showed off her mahjong set on video during the show.
"It’s been such a fun bonding thing because my mom, so when I went to see her a couple months ago in Arizona, she invited her mahjong ladies over and we all played and we had a great time,” Savannah recalled at the time.
