Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan have been butting heads as they hammer out the rest of the details in their divorce proceedings — but things weren't always so messy between the estranged pair.
While Tatum, 41, and Dewan, 41 have both moved on with other lovers, the former couple have quite the history together, as they were married for nearly nine years before announcing their separation in 2018. They also share 8-year-old daughter Everly, whom they welcomed in 2013.

The two exes first met after landing the lead roles in Step Up in 2006, and they later made things official with their red carpet debut as a couple at the film's Los Angeles premiere later that year.
In 2008, the hunky 21 Jump Street actor asked Dewan for her hand in marriage, and they tied the knot the following year in stunning outdoor Malibu wedding in July 2009.
It wasn't until 2012 when news broke that Dewan was expecting the pair's first baby together. The dancer later showed off her baby bump for the first time on the red carpet for the Oscars in 2013, with her hunky beau by her side.
Dewan gave birth to their baby girl in May of that year, and later gushed in an interview with ET Canada that her hubby had "been amazing" with their newborn daughter.
Tatum also described Dewan as "a super mum" in a interview around the time of Everly's second birthday.
"She is there every single second; every single said," he told Vanity Fair at the time, adding: "I love being a dad."
After a few more years of bliss together, the Hollywood couple crushed their fans when they announced in April 2018 that they would be going their separate ways.

"We have lovingly chosen to separate as a couple," they wrote in a joint statement via Instagram at the time. "We fell deeply in love so many years ago and have had a magical journey together. Absolutely nothing has changed about how much we love one another, but love is a beautiful adventure that is taking us on different paths for now."
"There are no secrets or salacious events at the root of our decision — just two best-friends realizing it's time to take some space and help each other live the most joyous, fulfilled lives as possible," they continued. "We are still a family and will always be loving dedicated parents to Everly."
Dewan officially filed for divorce months later, citing irreconcilable differences as their reason for splitting. She also filed for joint legal and physical custody of Everly.
Their divorce was later finalized in November 2019, although the details of their settlement is still in need of more fine tuning.
As OK! reported, Dewan and Tatum have been unable to reach an agreement when it comes to the money from the Magic Mike franchise — which the brunette babe believes she is entitled to.
In a recent court hearing, the exes were granted until June to settle the matter, or they will have to go to trial if they still can't agree.
As for the status of their love lives, both Dewan and Tatum got busy pretty quickly after the end of the marriage.
Dewan began dating Steve Kazee in 2018, while the Dear John actor jumped into a relationship with singer Jessie J.
Roughly a year into their relationship, Dewan and Kazee announced that they were expecting their first child together, and later welcomed their son Callum in March 2020.
Just a month prior to the birth of their little one, the love birds announced that they are engaged, although they still have yet to tie in the knot.
Meanwhile, Tatum has since called it quits with Jessie, and moved on to heat up a romance with Zoë Kravitz.
The new duo first ignited dating rumors after they were spotted together in New York City last year, and sources have previously spilled that "they are very happy" together, as OK! learned.
