The intense attention on Ben Affleck these days has reached a frightening level.
A man, reportedly posing as a security guard, was spotted scaling the perimeter gate of the $20 million mansion in Pacific Palisades before fleeing the scene on a getaway.
According to a Los Angeles Police Department spokesperson, the intruder, wearing black pants, blue shoes and a black hat and jacket that said “Security” in gold lettering, was seen climbing over the 48-year-old's gate around 8 a.m. on Tuesday.
Thanks to the fact that the paparazzi were caption outside outside, — hoping to possibly catch a glimpse a J. Lo — the intruder was caught in the act. The paps called the police and snapped evidence of the crime in progress.
An LAPD spokesperson said cops responded to the home on Napoli Drive and completed a trespass investigative report. No one was taken into custody and the suspect had taken off by the time they arrived.
OK! learned that the 48-year-old was spotted multiple times secretly visiting the “If You Had My Love” singer at her house during the day. The actor was also snapped being picked up in a white Escalade SUV, which apparently belongs to Lopez, before being escorted to her mansion.
The Gigli costars reportedly then stayed at the ultra-exclusive Yellowstone Club, located in the remote mountain enclave of Big Sky, and were holed up in a private home that boasted its own private chef, spending much of their time taking walks, swimming in the pools and taking dips in the hot tub.
"[Jennifer] spent several days with Ben out of town,” another source dished to PEOPLE, adding the two “have a strong connection. It's all been quick and intense, but Jennifer is happy." The source noted that the exes were later spotted arriving back in L.A. on Saturday, May 8, via a private jet.
Page Six was first to report on the intruder at Affleck's home.
