Jason Derulo & Ex Jena Frumes Put On A United Front At Baby2Baby Gala Two Months After Calling It Quits
Friendly exes!
Jason Derulo and Jena Frumes were all smiles as the duo — who called it quits in September — attended the Baby2Baby 10-year gala, presented by Paul Mitchell, on Saturday, November 13.
The 32-year-old crooner looked dapper in a black tux with a white button-down shirt underneath, with his chiseled chest peeking out as the actress stunned in a form fitting low-cut dress. The friendly exes toasted with a glass of bubbly as they smiled for the camera.
OK! previously reported, Derulo took to social media on Thursday, September 23, to announce he and his baby mama had called it quits. “Jena and I have decided to part ways,” he tweeted four months after Frumes gave birth to baby Jason King Derulo. “She is an amazing mother but we feel being apart at this time will allow us to be the best versions of ourselves and the best parents we could be. Pls respect our privacy in this time.”
The “Wiggle” crooner recently opened up about how he and Frumes are dedicated to co-parenting their 6-month-old son despite their split.
“It’s a beautiful thing [that we can support each other], especially given our new relationship: co-parenting,” Derulo spilled to PEOPLE. “We have an amazing relationship, and we don’t care if we’re confusing people about our situation because our situation is our situation.”

“We love [our son] more than anything, and his wellbeing is really important to us,” the “Savage Love” singer explained. “I’m really attentive of her wellbeing as well, and I want her to be good. I care about her a lot. We have an amazing relationship, contrary to a lot of people’s beliefs.”
Since welcoming the newborn, the Florida native noted how his entire outlook on life and his career has changed.
“I think when you’re chasing your goals, your goals are usually very selfish,” he continued. “But having him has completely shifted my mindset. Now it’s about, ‘How do I become the best inspiration for him? How do I make sure that I’m in a position where I can help make his dreams come true?’ That shift is probably the best thing that’s happened to me. It’s a whole new reason for thriving.”
