Jennifer Lawrence Claims 'a Lot' of Male Actors 'Punished' Her For Not Wanting to Sleep With Them After Intimate Scenes

Jennifer Lawrence claimed many of her male scene partners got "offended" when she didn't want to be intimate with them.

The actress has had her fair share of romantic scenes and opened up about what they're really like in a resurfaced clip from the podcast "Las Culturistas" in November 2025.

"A lot of male actors get offended if you don't wanna f--- them," she confessed, "and then the punishment starts."

An X user reposted the clip of the actress discussing her experiences with s-- scenes while promoting her film with Robert Pattinson, Die My Love, on August 31.

The resurfaced conversation quickly left fans horrified by the male actors who may have taken Lawrence's past disinterest in them to heart and subjected her to "social punishment."

"I’m appalled by what she said about the other actors. Really sad she was made to feel that way," one commenter reacted. "Why are these men so disgusting? And then they go ahead and use their power to make her life worse, only because they can’t stand to hear a no."

"Respecting boundaries and consent should always be the bare minimum in any professional environment," another wrote. "Feeling safe while working is not too much to ask."

"Okay, the state of men is a h--scape if we’re praising an actor for being professional and caring about his work over trying to f--- his costar," a third chimed in.

"Imagine getting offended because your co-star doesn’t want to sleep with you," a fourth added. "The bar is in h---.”

"That's just so odd to me that they would expect to have s-- with a co-worker," yet another commented. "Wanting to, sure, but don't think it's just going to happen just because you have a s-- scene."

Fortunately, Lawrence gushed over Pattinson being a totally professional scene partner when it came to more intimate moments. She revealed that she began to feel very comfortable with him, despite not knowing him previously.

"He's, like, not pervy, and very in love with Suki [Waterhouse], and so we were mostly talking about our kids and our relationships," she revealed, noting that they did not have an intimacy coordinator on set.

"There wasn't any weird, 'Does he think I like him?'" she explained. "If there was a little bit of that, I probably would have had an intimacy coordinator...but he was not like that."

Lawrence quipped that when she feels comfortable with a co-worker, she can relax and desensitize herself to the odd situation her career has put her in.

She's even gotten used to gearing up for s-- scenes, and found herself treating them as though they were just another day.

"Eventually, you get used to it," she previously shared. "And you're just like, talking, getting notes, having a snack — naked."
