Are Jennifer Lopez & Alex Rodriguez Actually Still Together? They Are Reportedly 'Working Through Some Things'
Fans were shocked when sources seemed to confirm a bombshell about power couple Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez, claiming the couple had officially called it quits. However, according to the famous pair themselves, they are actually going to fight to save the relationship.
“We are working through some things,” Lopez, 51, and Rodriguez, 45, said in a joint statement obtained by PEOPLE.

Additionally, a source told the outlet, "They never officially broke up and talked about it but are still together. They hit a rough patch. But were not broken up," adding that the tough time for the twosome had nothing to do with the recent drama involving Southern Charm’s Madison LeCroy.
“This was not caused by a third party,” said a separate insider. “Madison [LeCroy] or anyone else. They are working through things.”
With J.Lo in the Dominican Republic and A-Rod currently in Miami, “it's tough seeing each other especially with quarantining and COVID,” a source added, “but they want to try to stay together.”
However, as OK! exclusively reported, the “If You Had My Love” singer was keeping a close eye on her man in recent months after it was alleged that A-Rod had a secret affair with LeCroy.
“The whole scandal was a huge embarrassment for Jennifer,” a source told OK! at the time. “She is a total control freak when it comes to her image, and cheating rumors are not a good look, even when they are not true.
“You don’t get to be the biggest star in the world without paying close attention to every detail. Alex is surprisingly naïve when it comes to celebrity and fame," the insider added. "He doesn’t think about how every move he makes will be scrutinized and isn’t as careful as she is when it comes to social media.”

The drama began earlier this year when LeCroy’s costar Craig Conover claimed on the Southern Charm reunion that LeCroy “flew down to Miami” to meet up with a former MLB player. Rodriguez's name was suddenly thrown into the mix after Danni Baird said that he was the former Major League Baseball player LeCroy was DM'ing.
LeCroy quickly addressed the situation. "He contacted me, and yes, we DMed, but other than that there was nothing … I’ve never seen him [or] touched him," LeCroy insisted after it was implied that she hooked up with the athlete.

She continued to deny that she ever hooked up with Rodriguez behind Lopez’s back. "He’s never physically cheated on his fiancée with me," the 30-year-old explained to Page Six. According to LeCroy, the pair talked "randomly" and the conversation topics were "innocent."
Still, their twisted web continued to play out in the headlines.
But Lopez and Rodriguez put up a united front at the Super Bowl in February.
As of late, the couple hasn't publicly addressed relationship rumors on social media. They last posted Instagram pictures together on February 28.
While J.Lo has remained pretty low-key on her Instagram grid, A-Rod posted a recent selfie looking rather subdued. "Don’t mind me, just taking a sail-fie ⛵️," he captioned the post. "What are your plans for the weekend?"
It looks like J-Rod's only plans this weekend are putting out the fire caused by their tumultuous relationship!
