John Mulaney's Estranged Wife Anna Marie Tendler Reportedly Went To Rehab Amid Comedian's Alleged Infidelity

Comedian John Mulaney's estranged wife, Anna Marie Tendler, reportedly entered rehab around the same time as her husband for emotional reasons. Sources said she suffered over his alleged infidelity. 

"Anna Marie was in rehab at Silver Hill for [emotional]… and eating disorders," a source said. Gossip columnist AJ Benza first revealed on his "Fame, Ain’t It A B**ch" podcast that Tendler allegedly went to therapy after Mulaney entered rehab for 60 days for drug and alcohol addiction in December. 

According to the source, Tendler "didn’t talk" about Mulaney's rehab stint, but it was "clear she suffered during their marriage." She is said to be out of rehab and focusing on her art.

Earlier this month, it emerged that Mulaney asked for a divorce. "John will not have any further comment as he continues to focus on his recovery and getting back to work," a representative told Page Six, who also reported on Tendler's rehab stay.

Following the split, the 35-year-old artist said in a statement, "I am heartbroken that John has decided to end our marriage. I wish him support and success as he continues his recovery."

One Reddit user, meetmeforkisses, claimed that Mulaney approached her in a club in 2019. "He was definitely drinking and definitely never mentioned a wife. Did not hesitate to give me his number to meet outside of the club. He was always respectful to me so I could never call him a predator or anything, but I felt so awful when I found out he was married," the user wrote.

Since then, Mulaney has been linked to Olivia Munn. "This is very new, they're taking it slowly," a source told PEOPLE. "They met at church in Los Angeles." 

Mulaney and Munn previously met at a wedding. "I was like, 'Oh, my gosh, do you and your fiancée [Tendler] want to go have dinner or something and go hang out?'" the 40-year-old told HuffPost Live in 2015.

"At first, it was cool and then I kept going up to him at the wedding like, 'So you having fun?' I was just so obsessed with hanging out with and talking with him," she said at the time. Munn said she emailed Mulaney afterwards but he never responded, but said she "might've got the wrong email — probably. That's what I tell myself."

Munn also offered support when Mulaney announced that he was going to rehab. "Sending SO MUCH love and support to John Mulaney. You got this. ❤️⚡️," she tweeted at the time.
