Kate Gosselin Gives Fans Glimpse of Bodyguard-Turned-Boyfriend Steve Neild During 'Fun' 51st Birthday Bash

Kate Gosselin celebrated her 51st birthday in style with her boyfriend, Steve Neild, by her side.

"This is 51. I asked Steve to take pics of me throughout my birthday. Here is what he took..." Gosselin, 51, began her caption of a photo slideshow posted via Instagram on Monday, March 30.

The first photo was a candid shot of the reality TV alum in sweats as she sipped her coffee, with another one showing her casually looking through her fridge to make breakfast.

"Steve brought me coffee in bed," Gosselin wrote with a heart emoji as she continued to document her day, which included tasks like vacuuming and organizing a junk drawer before getting dressed for her birthday dinner.

The Special Forces: World's Toughest Test alum stunned in a cream mini dress paired with a matching cardigan. Gosselin, who fractured her leg in September 2025, kept things low-key with a simple pair of flip-flops.

The mom-of-eight's bodyguard-turned-boyfriend treated Gosselin to birthday gifts from Lululemon before the pair headed to dinner, where they posed all smiles with drinks in hand. Neild wore a red collared button-up shirt and a black watch, though Gosselin covered his face with a smiling emoji in the snap.

"Happy (belated) Birthday to me! What a fun day it was… even if I had to turn 51 😳!" she captioned the post.

In the comments section, fans begged to see more of Gosselin's new boyfriend, to which she responded, "He's not always comfortable with it so I go with his wishes on being on here or not :)."

After months of speculation, Gosselin confirmed her relationship with her former bodyguard in November 2025, when she named 10 things she was "obsessed" with in a social media post.

The relationship initially sparked controversy, as the star's ex-husband, Jon Gosselin, previously accused her and Steve of having an affair during their marriage.

Steve served as the Gosselin family bodyguard at the height of their Jon & Kate Plus 8 fame. Jon, 49, first made the accusations against his ex-wife in 2009, which she vehemently denied at the time.

"He's been a consistent person in her life," he told a news outlet in October 2025. "I'm not even upset that she's with someone... I'm more concerned about when it actually transpired because I know for a long, long time, at least 17 years, that they have been canoodling or together."
