Kelly Clarkson Jokes Her 'Small' Chest Is 'Perfect' While Narrowly Avoiding Wardrobe Malfunction at Las Vegas Show

Kelly Clarkson wasn’t about to let a little wardrobe mishap ruin her night.

The singer was in the middle of her Las Vegas show at Caesars Palace on Saturday, August 8, when a gust of wind lifted her sheer cropped top. Clarkson quickly caught it and immediately turned the awkward moment into a joke with the crowd.

“There’s a lot of amazing things happening, uh oh, there’s my b-----,” she said while pulling her top back down.

"They’re too small, they won’t come out, you’re fine,” The Kelly Clarkson Show host said, reassuring fans that there was nothing to worry about.

“They’re perfect, but I mean, they’re just not going anywhere," she quipped.

The “Stronger” singer went on to explain that she had recently been hearing about the Lion’s Gate Portal, which falls on August 8 and is associated by some with manifestation and setting intentions.

“I’m gonna be honest with you, somebody was like, ‘It’s the Lion’s Gate Portal. It’s 8-8, there’s so much energy out, don’t speak negatively,’” she shared, before adding, "Right when I made a self-deprecating joke, I’m like, ‘Just kidding, universe, my b----- are awesome!’"

The Texas native even admitted that she had been getting messages reminding her to be careful about what she says and puts out into the universe.

“I got texts all last night, like, ‘Don’t gossip, don’t speak ill of anyone or yourself [to manifest] things out there that you want,’” she said.

She added, “I was like, ‘You’re sure we’re doing this s--- everyday? I don’t know if it should just be tomorrow … or this should be a life thing?’”

It was hardly the first time Clarkson has been candid about her body. Back in November, she recalled an uncomfortable experience with a manager who once told her she should get a b--- job, per Page Six.

“I had some d--- manager one time tell me to get a b--- job,” she previously said, recalling her response: “Why don’t you get a d--- job!? I’m fine with my itty-bitty t-------!"

The candid moment comes as Clarkson continues her Las Vegas residency during a period of major changes in her personal life. She is mom to her daughter, River, 12, and son, Remy, 10, whom she shared with her late ex-husband, Brandon Blackstock, who died in August 2025 at age 48 following a battle with melanoma.

Earlier this year, Clarkson also announced that she would be stepping away from The Kelly Clarkson Show after seven seasons to spend more time with her children.
