Kelly Osbourne candidly opened up about her 'scary' weight loss journey after her father Ozzy's passing last year.

Kelly Osbourne recently got candid about her weight loss journey and how she wore wigs to help hide her new figure after her father, Ozzy Osbourne, died in July 2025.
“I looked like the f------ Crypt Keeper,” the Fashion Police alum, 41, told Daily Mail on Sunday, September 6.

“I said, ‘This is scary. I didn’t know I looked like this,'” she recalled. “My spine — you could see every single bone," she divulged.
She also opened up about Ozzy's heartbreaking death at the age of 76 last year, noting she was blinded by what “other people saw.”

“I was in so much pain,” Kelly admitted. “I just saw a broken person.” She then looked back on attending the 2026 Grammy Awards this past February, where the Black Sabbath frontman was being honored.
“I wore a wig to cover my face, so you couldn’t see how skinny my cheekbones really were,” the TV personality added. “They knew I was going through something. So, we were trying to find clothes to not make me look skinnier," she also said about her personal stylists.

Kelly Osbourne Said She Was in 'Pain' After Her Father's Passing
Kelly Osbourne recalled the grief over her father's death made her feel sick.
“I was scared,” Kelly confessed. “I wanted to be there to support my mum [Sharon Osbourne] and to pay tribute to my father’s legacy. But in all honesty, when I reflect on it, I don’t think I should have gone. I wasn’t very well.”
“You’re filled with so much pain that the feeling of hunger can’t even pop up," she then said of feeling so much nausea amid her grief.
Earlier this year, Kelly clapped back at trolls who hated on her appearance in the midst of her weight loss. “Literally can’t believe how disgusting some human beings truly are!” she shared in an Instagram Story alongside a screenshot of a comment about her body.
“No one deserves this sort of abuse!” Kelly stated.
Kelly Osbourne Slammed Online Haters Who Criticized Her Physique
Kelly Osbourne previously blasted an online troll who hated on her body.
The comment compared The Osbournes star’s “thin” and “fragile” frame to a “dead body.”
“Looks like she’s going to see her dad soon,” the social media user added, referencing the rock star's passing.
In a December 2025 Instagram video, Kelly noted her father's death was the reason for slimming down. “To the people who keep thinking they’re being funny and mean by writing comments like, ‘Are you ill, or ‘Get off Ozempic,’ or ‘You don’t look right,’ my dad just died,” she emotionally stated at the time.
“I’m doing the best that I can,” she scoffed. “So to all those people, f--- off.”
