Khloé Kardashian Is 'Talking About Running Off To Vegas' To Elope With Tristan Thompson, Leaving The Kardashian Clan 'Insulted'

Cameras or it didn't happen! An insider exclusively tells OK! that Khloé Kardashian's plan to elope with her baby daddy, Tristan Thompson, isn't going down well with the over-the-top Kardashian clan. 

After Thompson, 29 — who shares 2-year-old daughter True with Kardashian, 36 — surprised the reality star with a massive "promise ring" last December, "she was discussing having a wedding at her mom's estate with all the bells and whistles," spills the insider. "But now she's talking about running off to Vegas or a secret destination with no one but their daughter. Khloé thinks it sounds romantic."

For momager Kris Jenner and the rest of the family, "the downgrade is a huge insult," the insider adds. "They want Khloé to follow family tradition and organize a big bash that will boost the brand. They can't imagine what's gotten into her!"

One month ago, Kardashian was seen in Boston with Thompson and True, and she even had her left hand weighed down by a huge rock — a pear-shaped diamond with side stones.

Since Thompson signed with the Boston Celtics, Kardashian is getting to spend more time with the NBA star on the East Coast.

As OK! previously reported, the pair — who have been through their fair share of ups and downs throughout the years — are finally in a good place, and the mom-of-one will be "living in Boston and L.A.," as Thompson just signed a $19 million deal with the team. 

"Lockdown has given Khloé the chance to enjoy quiet moments with Tristan and True, and she wants a wedding to reflect that," the source says.

The Good American founder “took her time” to forgive Thompson after he cheated on her with Jordyn Woods in 2019, a source exclusively told OK!. “But he won her over, and now she says she can’t wait to be Mrs. Thompson.”
