Kim Kardashian 'Struggling With Her Relationship' With Kanye West, Spills Khloé On 'KUWTK'
Trouble in paradise! Kim Kardashian’s marriage troubles with Kanye West are being laid out on the table in a new Keeping Up With the Kardashians episode.
A preview for a KUWTK episode airing Thursday, June 3 shows Khloé Kardashian candidly sharing in an interview that “Kim has been struggling with her relationship.”
The 36-year-old reality TV star then comforts her sister in the preview. “You can always talk to me about whatever” she says to Kim, who seems to have accepted the situation.
“There’s, like, honestly nothing to talk about,” the Skims founder responds. “I just roll with it.”
This new episode follows the Thursday, May 27 episode that things may have been looking up for the pair after West gave her a special and intimate gift for Kim’s 40th birthday: a hologram of her father, Robert Kardashian, which she called “so real and so emotional and so lifelike.”
The rapper reportedly arrived late for Kim’s 40th birthday celebration on a private island “because of work commitments.” Instead, he tweeted a photo of the couple from their 2013 engagement, writing, “Happy 40th birthday!!! I love you so much.”
The episode airing Kim’s birthday comes months after rumors began circulating that the pair had called it quits on their marriage, although Kim didn’t officially file for divorce until February. Nearly two months later, the Grammy winner filed a response, seeking joint legal and physical custody of their shared children, North, 7, Saint, 5, Chicago, 3 and Psalm, 2.

Both West and Kardashian cited “irreconcilable differences” as their reason for the split. After a major fight in December of 2020, the pair tried to stay together but could not stay afloat. “There is no one person exiting the marriage. They both just grew apart from each other. They both wanted to make the marriage work--that’s why they put this off for so long,” a source spilled to Us Weekly in February.
Khloé isn’t the first member of the Kardashian klan to discuss the Kim and Kanye split. Kris Jenner and Kourtney Kardashian also talked about Kim’s reluctance to open up about her relationship turmoil during an episode of KUWTK that aired in March.
“I know she doesn’t want to talk about it on camera,” the 65-year-old explained. “But I just feel like she’s struggling a bit.”
Kourtney chimed in, adding that her sister “can’t possibly navigate this on her own.”
Kim was even candid with the camera, when she explained in an interview that she planned on continuing to keep her marital issues private.
“It’s no secret that everyone sees things in the media about my life with Kanye, but I’ve always been really respectful in not talking about issues that Kanye and I have,” the mom of four noted. “I mean, you guys clearly see them on Twitter, but I’m going to choose to not really talk about it on here.”
