Kristin Cavallari and Jay Cutler left fans in shock when they posted the same photo of themselves together on Instagram on Friday, leading many to believe they were getting back together.
Taking to the social media platform, the two shared the photo with an identical caption that reads, ”The world is full of users. 10 years. Can’t break that.”

Cutler appeared to be holding the camera for the selfie, which also showed The Hills star leaning up against her ex’s shoulder while folding her arms and giving a slight smirk.
Their followers couldn’t contain their excitement to see the former couple together again — and what made things all the more interesting is that the image was posted on both of their IG accounts.
But according to People, Cavallari and Cutler are not reconciling by any means.
“They are friends and single. They will always have each other's back no matter what,” a source told the news outlet.

The pair announced their divorce in April 2020, with Cavallari citing marital misconduct and irreconcilable difference as the reason behind their split.
Though things initially seemed to have ended on bad terms between the two, Cavallari and Cutler have put their differences to the side, not only because they still care for each other but also for the sake of their three children — Camden, eight, Jaxon, six, and Saylor, five.
It’s also been reported that the 34-year-old has ended her short-lived romance with Jeff Dye, who she was first romantically linked with back in October. The pair were full of life while vacationing in Mexico last month, but their romance fizzled out soon after and they decided to go their separate ways.
Insiders stress that even though Cavallari is single once again, her posing with Cutler for a selfie on Instagram should not give fans the indication that a reconciliation is in the works between the two; they’re just really good friends at this point.
Back in September, the blonde beauty opened up on the adjustments she’s made since calling it quits with Cutler after 10 years of marriage, explaining that while she’s certainly faced plenty of challenges along the way, she’s “excited about the next chapter.”
“I have hard days, without a doubt, and right now I'm really just focusing on my kids and making sure that my kids are good,” she told Entertainment Tonight. “That’s my only priority at the moment, and they're handling it well. I'm just trying to stay positive and focus on all of the positive things. But I have sad days, without a doubt.”
