"I am really proud of myself. I think I've done a really good job…we started the show when I was nine years old and I look at my daughter and she's eight and I'm like, 'Oh my God, in a year, you'll be the age that I was when I was so exposed to all of this,'” Jenner, who was just nine during the premiere of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, expressed. “Although it was different times then, there was no Instagram... I think that just protecting the things that I feel need protection or just like parts of my personality... it's just like my relationships and I just try to just protect myself and I have really thick skin, I think."

The makeup mogul also explained how her child reacted when she recently showed her episodes of KUWTK for the first time.

“She asked me the other day, 'Why are we famous? Why is our whole family famous?'... I sat her and I'm like, 'We started a television show when I was a year older than you. And that's why we're all in this together,’” she recalled. “So we turned on the first episode, some things I didn't realize were inappropriate. So right when I knew that it was about to start playing, I fast forward through all the inappropriate stuff, but I showed her a cute scene... She was like, 'Okay, Mommy, when can we watch episode two?' And then she kind of left the room.”

“I don't know what hit me, but I was weeping in my bed,” the mom revealed. “I don't know why that happened to me... maybe it's like my daughter being the same age as I was and just seeing my family and I'm just feeling so grateful for all that we've built, but also mourning that closeness when we were all kind of living under the same roof."

Elsewhere in the interview, the Kylie Cosmetics founder reflected on her own childhood, including a core memory with her sister Kendall that’s lasted over the years.

"Kendall and I have been playing Sims since we were little and we're still playing it to this day,” Kylie dished. “And we'll just play for like six hours. We'll FaceTime each other and we don't even really talk, but we're just there and we play... Now we make people that we know. So we'll make our friends and stuff and then all live in a house together."
