Mariah Carey Shuts Down Interviewer Who Calls Nick Cannon's Five Other Kids Her 'Step' Children: 'I Don't Know About That'
The Queen of shade!
Mariah Carey subtly shut down the idea of ex-hubby Nick Cannon’s five other children being related to the children she shares with the talk show host.
The 41-year-old rapper welcomed twins Zion Mixolydian and Zillion Heir with Abby De La Rosa on June 14. His son Zen, whom he shares with model Alyssa Scott, was born nine days after Zion and Zillion. Additionally, Cannon welcomed daughter Powerful Queen in December 2020 with Brittany Bell, with whom he also shares 4-year-old son Golden. The Wild ‘N Out host is also dad to 10-year-old twins Moroccan and Monroe with Carey.
During a recent appearance on Entertainment Tonight, host Kevin Frazier brought up Cannon’s ever growing list of children. “Will any of their step brothers or sisters get to enjoy Christmas your way?,” Frazier asked Carey, referring to her twins.
The icon replied, “Is it step? I don’t think it’s step. If you’re not married to the person. I don’t know about that, that’s a different interview for you.” (Assuming that’s a no.)
The Masked Singer host recently opened up about which of his baby mamas he enjoys the most. Cannon appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen for a round of Plead the Fifth — a game where the two take turns answering hot topic questions.

Cannon began the game by asking the Bravo star, "In an Andy Cohen nightmare, who would be the worst three guests on Watch What Happens Live?" to which the 53-year-old host pleaded the fifth and avoided the question.
Cohen then asked the father-of-seven, "Who is your favorite baby mama?" While Cannon debated whether to answer the controversial question, the audience chanted, "Plead the fifth."
"I got this. I ain't scared of you, Andy. My favorite baby mama is the next one," he quipped to a shocked Cohen. "I don't think that was a good answer," Cohen replied.
