Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg and UFC bantamweight star Merab Dvalishvili made waves by sharing a viral video of an intense, full-contact sparring session on a floating barge in the middle of Lake Tahoe.
The high-energy training session featured the two trading punches, body kicks and heavy grappling under the supervision of an on-water referee.
The action escalated when the slight Zuckerberg managed to kick Dvalishvili off the floating platform and into the water.

Mark Zuckerberg fought Merab Dvalishvili in the viral clip.
"The Machine" quickly retaliated by hoisting the tech billionaire into the air and slamming him into the cold lake.
The video highlights a playful back-and-forth in which both men end up dunked in Lake Tahoe. Despite the casual lake setting, Zuckerberg showcased his actual MMA progress by executing crisp jabs, kicks and a pair of takedowns against the elite UFC wrestler.
At one point, Dvalishvili spun out of a takedown and landed a light, open-hand "Stockton Slap" on Zuckerberg, drawing laughter from onlookers.
'Mark Has No Shirt On'

Mark Zuckerberg's wife, Priscilla Chan, was seen paddling on a kayak as her husband fought.
Zuckerberg's wife, Priscilla Chan, paddled past the barge on a kayak. Spotting her husband training bare-chested, she laughed at his shirtless look, prompting Zuckerberg to joke that Dvalishvili made him do it to "look more like a fighter.”
“Mark has no shirt on,” Chan said, noting that her husband told her Dvalishvili insisted he go shirtless “because it looks more ‘fighter.'”
This "Round 2" barge session builds on Zuckerberg's growing involvement in the sport. He regularly trains with other top UFC champions, including Alex Pereira, Israel Adesanya and Alexander Volkanovski.

Mark Zuckerberg Would 'Love' to Compete in UFC

'Part of learning is failing,' said the Meta CEO.
During an in-depth conversation on a podcast with computer scientist Lex Fridman, Zuckerberg explained why beginners have to leave their egos at the door when stepping onto the mat.
“Part of learning is failing. People who train jiu-jitsu — you need to not have pride. Maybe to some degree, your ability to keep doing interesting things is your willingness to be embarrassed again and go back to step one and start as a beginner, and get your a-- kicked,” he said.
As for his foray into UFC, it’s yet another of the billionaire’s desires to chase a rush.
"I've wanted to do a competitive fight for a while, and I was training for it when I got injured... I'd still love to do it at some point. I just think the thrill of competing is such a rush and I think it also focuses your training and makes it that you learn more... I'd love to do a competition whether it's UFC or something else,” he said.
