Martha Stewart Embraced Life on Her Own Terms

Chris Appleton revealed Martha Stewart’s new rose-gold hair transformation in a social media post.
The makeover came shortly after Stewart opened up about her personal life and revealed that she had been enjoying being single.
In an interview with People, the writer said she went out frequently and spent plenty of time with friends, though she did not clarify whether she had been dating.
When asked about how she felt about turning 85, Stewart brushed off the milestone.
"I don’t think about age. Eighty-five is just a number; that’s all I consider it. I don’t want to have a party. It’s not a big deal," she expressed.

Martha Stewart reflected on her busy routine while continuing to balance her work and daily activities at 85.
During the same interview at her 156-acre Bedford, N.Y., farm, Stewart reflected on her demanding routine.
"I’m very particular still. I still am a perfectionist. I still like to do many things at the same time. I like to do all the same things I’ve pretty much always done," she said.
She added, "I’d like to have a little bit more free time. I don’t have any free time at all—but I’m working on that."
Stewart reportedly woke up at 3 a.m. to complete her daily puzzles before appearing on Today to promote her home intelligence app, Hint.

Martha Stewart Still Does Her Own Grocery Shopping

Martha Stewart revealed that she still cooked for herself often and enjoyed grocery shopping, which she saw as a way to keep track of food prices and quality.
When asked whether she still cooked for herself often, she gave a straightforward answer: "All the time. I love going to the grocery store."
For Stewart, the trips were also a way to stay informed about what was available and affordable.
"You have to go to the grocery store to know what prices are, if you want to know what people can buy and the quality, is it any good?" she said.

Martha Stewart revealed she visited three different stores to find the right lamb chops and remained particular about her groceries.
Stewart also described how particular she remained when selecting ingredients, recalling that she once visited three different stores to find the right lamb chops.
She explained that her driver handled only certain purchases because she preferred to choose the rest herself.
"They bring home the wrong stuff," Stewart said.
"We have a cappuccino machine in the stable. We have a cappuccino machine in the groundskeepers’ lunchroom. We have one in the greenhouse, and we have one in my house, and we have one in the studio," she added.
