Natalie Harp Altered Her Wardrobe to 'Stand Out' After Her Adoring Personal Letters to Donald Trump Were Exposed, Expert Claims

President Donald Trump’s aide Natalie Harp altered her wardrobe to bold, high-contrast pink-and-green outfits in a strategic effort to "stand out" and raise her profile. This deliberate shift was highlighted by body language and fashion experts after highly personal letters she wrote to the president were leaked.

Experts note her transition to eye-catching pink and green dresses aims to draw attention directly to her.

According to body language expert Judi James in The Mirror, the vivid colors and rigid posture signal a desperation to please her boss, who famously demands smiles from female staff.

Her styling choices are designed to position her as a visible participant in events rather than someone hovering on the sidelines.

"These strong block colors would be worn to stand out and raise the profile in the same way as U.K. royals use block colors to show status and visibility," James explained. "They seem to suggest that Harp wants to be highly visible and to create some kind of a raised profile or brand in public."

James said Harp’s green dress was "impractical for a flight and over-sophisticated for a member of staff,” adding that the aide’s demeanor is increasingly uncomfortable as well.

"Harp's smile here is beginning to look almost painful to perform. It looks like the kind of stretched, professional rictus smile that competitive ballroom dancers and beauty pageant contestants are required to perform," James noted. "She applies hers as Trump speaks to the astronauts, and it's difficult to see why she feels impelled to do so. Looking pleasant would be easily sufficient here, but her cheek-dimpling smile looks rigid and unprompted by genuine happiness or humor."

In her own words, she admitted envying women whose only job was to "look pretty" while talking with Trump.

The scrutiny of the wardrobe intensified after The Daily Beast published deeply personal letters that Harp wrote to Trump in 2023. The letters reveal an intense level of devotion to the president.

She wrote that Trump is "all that matters to me,” and referred to the president as her "Guardian and Protector in this Life.”

Harp stated that she wanted to protect him from workplace stress and bring him nothing but joy.

She went as far as asking Trump to "cuss her out" if she ever failed him.

While some Trump insiders say First Lady Melania Trump appreciates Harp’s obsession with her husband, as it relieves her of duties, journalist Michael Wolff reported that Melania effectively refused to make public appearances when Harp was present due to Harp's constant proximity.

White House staffers, alarmed by Harp delivering late-night documents to Trump's private quarters and bypassing official channels, discovered and photographed the letters.

Harp's estranged brother Preston publicly criticized her connection to Trump, calling it a "very unhealthy" relationship.

James noted that Natalie is smiling with intention.

"The way she aims it at the room in general suggests a desire to 'join in' with the action rather than hover on the sidelines," she said.
