Donald Trump Said Aide Natalie Harp Is the Only One Who 'Loves Him as Much as Melania': Report

President Donald Trump reportedly told staffers that his 35-year-old executive assistant, Natalie Harp, is the only person who "loves him as much" as his wife, First Lady Melania Trump, and his children.

The comments, detailed in the book Regime Change by The New York Times reporters Maggie Haberman and Jonathan Swan, describe Donald explaining that while other staffers leave to make money, Natalie will never leave his side.

The relationship became a national talking point after Democratic Sen. Jon Ossoff made a passing remark about Natalie at an August 16 rally, sparking furious Republican backlash.

Biographer Michael Wolff made public letters from Natalie to Donald, in which she allegedly wrote "you are all that matters to me" and expressed a desire for a job where she could talk to him and "look pretty.”

While Natalie's estranged brother, Preston Harp, described her bond with the president as an "unhealthy obsession," Melania made a public appearance alongside her husband at the White House Rose Garden to downplay the rumors, jokingly telling the crowd, "I heard you missed me. Here I am.”

Reports emerged that Natalie worked in the West Wing for over a year without standard security clearances. White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt later stated that Harp has since completed the process and currently holds an active clearance.

Natalie, a ubiquitous member of Donald's inner circle nicknamed the "human printer," frequently accompanies him on travel, assists in managing his Truth Social account and maintains constant access to the Oval Office.

Newly leaked private communications and insider accounts describe an unsettling level of control over the POTUS' information diet.

A newly leaked letter from Natalie to the 80-year-old president revealed an intense level of personal devotion that unnerved Washington. In it, the 35-year-old aide apologized for being distracted, admitting she was "forgetting to eat throughout the days, and even forgetting to sleep, and only catching a couple hours at a time."

She concluded the letter by writing, "With all my heart, Natalie.”

Aides and family members have described her boundary-defying efforts to stay by Donald's side, including an alarming incident in October 2023.

When told there was no room for her in Donald's official court motorcade, Natalie refused to be left behind and climbed into the trunk of a Secret Service SUV to accompany him.

Brother Preston publicly called the incident "sad” and hoped his sister would eventually “wake up” from her obsession.

During a summer stay at Donald's Bedminster resort, senior campaign officials — worried about her extreme closeness — refused to assign her a bedroom.

Natalie bypassed them by sleeping in the women’s golf locker room all summer to remain near the president.

Former staffers note that because she has unfettered access to his social media feeds, she often bypasses senior leadership to feed Donald extreme internet content.

She was reportedly the source who gave Donald a highly controversial, racist AI-generated video depicting the Obamas as apes, which Donald subsequently posted.

As the elderly president becomes increasingly more isolated — Melania made her first appearance with him after a month's absence on Thursday, August 20 — Natalie remains his go-to.

"Natalie Harp, because she is sort of his binky, for lack of a better way of putting it, a comfort blanket," Maggie said.
