Olivia Munn Has Quietly 'Opted To Dial Things Back' With John Mulaney Ahead Of His Cross-Country Comedy Tour
Not so fast! After getting too intense too soon, Olivia Munn and John Mulaney are pumping the brakes on their red-hot romance, an insider tells OK!
The couple was first reported to be dating in May, after the troubled funnyman, 38, completed a 60-day rehab stint and called it quits on his six-year marriage to artist Anna Marie Tendler, 36.
OK! previously reported that the former Saturday Night Live writer "broke Anna's heart," with a source saying at the time, "People definitely have mixed feelings about his new relationship" with Munn.
Though Mulaney has been primarily based in New York, he previously shared a home with his ex-wife in Los Angeles. According to Page Six, Munn was spotted leaving the former flames' residence the same week Tendler was spotted moving out.
Despite the raised eyebrows, Mulaney and Munn continued to flaunt their romance around Los Angeles. In June, a source revealed, “Olivia and John are going strong”, gushing the Buddy Games actress was "smitten" with the comedian.
But now that Mulaney is busy with his nationwide standup tour — in which he'll make stops in Atlanta, Las Vegas, Philadelphia and New Orleans — “Olivia has opted to dial things back,” the insider spills.

The actress, 41, who hasn’t had a serious relationship since she and NFL superstar Aaron Rodgers, 37, split in 2017 after three years together, “is not in the market for another cross-country romance,” the insider says.
"Olivia needs a guy with a strong base in L.A., and that isn’t who John is at all,” says a source.
In 2015, Munn admitted that she and Mulaney met at a wedding and immediately hit it off. "I was like, 'Oh, my gosh, do you and your fiancée [Tendler] want to go have dinner or something and go hang out?'" the former G4 host told HuffPost Live.
"At first, it was cool and then I kept going up to him at the wedding like, 'So you having fun?' I was just so obsessed with hanging out with and talking with him," she said at the time. Munn later admitted that she emailed the stand-up star afterwards — but he never responded, forcing her to convince herself that she "might've got the wrong email, probably."
However, it seems that after landing her dream guy, things have changed since then. “Olivia’s realizing John’s career will always be his No. 1 priority, which is why she’s hesitant to go all-in,” the insider adds. “She hasn’t called it quits just yet, but she may not be waiting for him when the tour is over!”
