It sounds like Pamela Anderson's soon-to-be ex-husband Dan Hayhurst was not the man of her dreams after all.
As previously reported by OK!, the blonde beauty and her fifth husband called it quits after one year of marriage.
Anderson is reportedly filing for divorce in Canada.
Insiders have since weighed in on what might have driven the love birds apart. A source told Page Six, the pair was very happy when they were first quarantined together amid the coronavirus pandemic.
Last year, the Baywatch alum and Hayhurst appeared virtually on Loose Women, cuddled up in bed together. "He’s the kind of guy I probably would have met if I would have stayed home and not went around the world and got crazy," she said at the time, and added that it was nice to be with a man who knows how to change a lightbulb.
An insider told the outlet that Hayhurst was apparently not very nice to his estranged wife. "He was unkind and unsupportive. After you spent two years living every second with someone, you get to know them better — and for worse," the source claimed.
The source revealed as they got to know each other better, the 54-year-old realized he was not the man for her. "Things are not amicable at all between them at the moment, because she decided they had nothing in common, he didn’t treat her in the way she felt she wanted to be treated," the source added.
The source explained the couple had been fighting, even though Hayhurst claimed he wanted things to work out for them.

"She had initially said it was nice to be with a regular guy who could change a lightbulb, but in the end, while the lightbulb was nice, he couldn’t fulfill her other needs," the source said.
Page Six noted that Anderson's rep confirmed the split, but did not comment further, and that Hayhurst and his reps could not be immediately reached.
Meanwhile, an insider told HollywoodLife things were initially "beautiful" between the former flames, but the Barb Wire actress realized before the holidays that it just wasn't working.
The source added that she did not like living in Canada. "She is a California girl through and through and not being close to her sons really got to her," the source explained.
"It is over and the divorce is going through but there is no bad blood. You won’t hear either one of them talking bad about the other one. It just didn’t work anymore," the insider noted.
Another insider told the publication that Anderson's sons, Brandon and Dylan, support her. "Brandon and Dylan trust that their mom knows what’s best for her and that she makes the best decisions for herself. They’re proud that she is able to know what she wants in someone and would never settle for less," the source revealed.
