Prince Harry is making headlines again — but this time, it’s over resurfaced messages from his past.
On Tuesday, March 31, the Duke of Sussex's trial against Associated Newspapers Limited, the publisher behind the Daily Mail and Mail on Sunday continued. During the hearing, new evidence was introduced as part of the defense — including personal messages Harry allegedly sent more than a decade ago.

Prince Harry's trial is still ongoing.
Among the exchanges were flirty messages between Harry and Mail on Sunday reporter Charlotte Griffiths. In the texts, he referred to her as “sugar” and even mentioned “movie snuggles,” despite previously claiming he had only met her once, per RadarOnline.com.
The two reportedly connected on Facebook back in 2011, with Harry sharing his private phone number. They later attended a party together that June while moving in the same social circle, which sparked a string of playful messages the next morning.
Harry reached out again on December 4, 2011, sending a message that read, "It’s H, in case you were confused by name and picture!!! X."

Messages between the royal and the reporter were revealed during the former's trial.
Griffiths responded in a cheeky tone, writing: “Hello, Mr Mischief… Did you get home OK slash did you actually find your car and did you beat Arthur down the motorway more importantly?!”
She continued, "What a fun weekend of naughtiness – can’t we all get up to no good in the countryside every weekend, d--- it?? Smooches, CG String. Xxx.”
The British royal kept the energy going, replying that it was "without doubt the best of those weekends I’ve been to," adding, "What a crowd. Never laughed so much in 24hrs!!"
He also joked about his nickname, writing, "Mr mischief? How do I get that title ... l was surely no worse than anyone else!!"
At one point, he admitted he was still feeling the aftermath of the weekend, saying he had “serious withdraw symptoms still,” before venting about royal duties. He said he had to "make polite conversation with strange people at a dinner last night. begging them for money for charity! Really fun. Not.”

The texts were seemingly flirty.
"Hope work isn’t too dull wherever u are?!" he added.
Harry followed up again on December 15, 2011, telling Griffiths she had "missed a good party last night."
Their flirty back-and-forth didn’t stop there. In a later exchange on January 22, 2012, Griffiths called him “H Bomb” and wrote, "We missed you so much at Arthur’s last week."

The messages were sent in 2011 and 2012.
At the time, Harry was training as an Army Air Corps pilot and responded, "I WISH I was there sugar but unfortunately stuck in Cornwall doing Army stuff :( Otherwise I would have been there playing and then drinking u under the table, obvi!!”
He then added: “Just wish I could have been there ... especially now that you’re there! Dou [sic] ever work?!!.... Hope you’re really well Griff ... Miss our movie snuggles!!"
Harry later told her he would be going “off comms” for the rest of the week, signing off with several X’s.
The resurfaced messages date back years before Harry met his now-wife, Meghan Markle. The couple tied the knot in 2018 and now share two children, Archie and Lilibet.
On January 21, Harry appeared in court to testify against Associated Newspapers, accusing the publisher of illegally gathering private information about him, Meghan and other public figures.
During his testimony, the former army veteran became emotional, appearing close to tears as he described how Daily Mail made Meghan’s life "miserable."
