Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are allegedly already hammering out the details for future trips to the United Kingdom following their July visit with King Charles and Queen Camilla.

Meghan, 45, and Harry, 41, stepped down from royal duties and moved to California in 2020, prompting tension in their relationship with the royal family.

According to insiders, as Harry looks to repair his familial ties, he is seeking to spend more and more time in the United Kingdom. Meghan may not be particularly fond of the idea as rumors of tension in their marriage grow.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have sparked concern of a rift in their marriage.

As a result, Closer reported, the couple may be seeking a compromise so that Harry can resume his royal duties across the pond on a part-time basis.

Meghan reportedly has no interest in seeking a relationship with her in-laws, nor uprooting her life in the United States, where she is raising her children Archie, 7, and Lilibet, 5.

"Harry and Meghan are 'figuring out an agreement' where Meghan accompanies him when it suits her," a source explained. "She's very independent, so she's leaving it up to Harry to navigate it, but the feeling is it's very much a make-or-break situation."

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry met with King Charles and Queen Camilla earlier this year.

Harry and Meghan have attracted rumors of tension within their marriage as the prince makes public strides to mend his relationship with his father and stepmother.

"They’re living very separate lives now,” one insider claimed of the couple. “It’s gone beyond work schedules. They have different priorities, different routines and they’re spending much less time together than people realize.”

"When Harry is on his own, he seems like a different person,” another source explained. "He’s more relaxed, more spontaneous and much more like the prince people remember. Friends have noticed the change."

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle did not seem to have the same impression of the meeting, sources said.

Meghan and Harry returned to the United Kingdom with their children in July for a visit with Camilla and Charles. Insiders have claimed that while the father and son left feeling positively about their relationship, no major steps were made.

"It was an important first step, not a miracle cure,” the source alleged. "Everyone left feeling the meeting was worthwhile, but nobody walked away believing everything had suddenly been fixed."

Meghan, on the other hand, did not find the reception to be "warm and fuzzy," those close to the royal family have said.

"One gets the sense that, from Meghan’s perspective, the reunion with Charles and Camilla wasn’t entirely warm and fuzzy,” royal author Christopher Andersen told Page Six.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry left the United Kingdom in 2020 and moved to California.

According to royal author Catherine Mayer, Meghan and Harry's departure from the royal family six years ago caused a "rupture" that may be very challenging to mend.

"I believe that the rupture in the family that saw Meghan and Harry go to the United States has done very serious damage to the monarchy," Mayer told Fox News.

"But to say that is not to say that I blame them for what happened," she continued. "It's often taken as a criticism: 'Look what they've done to the monarchy.'"
