'I Experienced This Adrenaline Crash'

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are parents of two children, Princess Lilibet and Prince Archie.
Harry described the two months living near Vancouver Island, from late 2019 to 2020, as feeling like a harrowing "adrenaline crash."
"Being in Canada, away from the stressful environment, where presumably my body was just pumped full of adrenaline, within two or three days, I experienced this adrenaline crash, something that I’d never experienced before," he told viewers.

Prince Harry 'Suppressed' His Emotions After Princess Diana's Death

Princess Diana died at age 36 in 1997.
"It was as if I needed stress in order to get the adrenaline to make my brain function because I became useless around the house," he explained. "I actually slipped into depression for about two weeks and I felt like I couldn’t function without adrenaline."
Harry acknowledged that a lot of his trauma stemmed from his mother Princess Diana's tragic death in 1997. He explained that he was taught to suppress his emotions, which led to his not crying for nearly two decades, and his mental health suffered for it.
"Men are encouraged not to grieve," he explained. "I think men and young boys are brought up to believe that crying is weakness, crying is unacceptable, crying is not what men do."
