Call in the replacements!
“Casting producers have Claudia Jordan, 48, at the top of their list to rejoin the Real Housewives of Atlanta,” an insider dishes, adding: “With all of the recent cast changes over the last couple of weeks, they are definitely scrambling to get a big name.”
The Celebrity Apprentice alum was a series regular during the seventh season where she butted heads with then-star NeNe Leakes — who exited the series last year.
“The ratings never recovered from NeNe leaving the show and now with so many cast members leaving, they are pulling out all the stops to get great names,” the source continues.
The TV insider notes “no offers have been made yet,” the producers are compiling a wish list and “Claudia is definitely on it.” “She is constantly in the news and was a great cast member,” the source says of Jordan.
The former Deal or No Deal model isn’t the only new face producers are looking at to bring in for season 14 of RHOA. OK! reported OG Housewive Shereé Whitfield is set to make her return after skipping out on 10 seasons.
Olympian Sanya Richards-Ross is also being eyed as a potential replacement. The track star is already gearing up to begin filming with the ladies, reported LOVEBSCOTT. If all goes well, and the audience takes to her, producers will crown her as a full-time cast member.
Williams announced her exit from the beloved Bravo series on Thursday, September 30, in a heartfelt message via Instagram.
“💕After ten life-changing, gratifying, incredible years, it is finally time to begin my next chapter,” the 40-year-old reality star began. “Next season, I will not be returning to the Real Housewives of Atlanta franchise.”
“This was a difficult decision to not only make, but also come to terms with. It's one I have put a lot of thought into and because of that, I know it's the right one,” she continued, teasing she wasn’t going to be away from the small screen for long.
