'RHOC' Alum Alexa Curtin Sentenced To Jail After Pleading Guilty To Multiple Criminal Charges: Report

Former Real Housewives of Orange County star Alexa Curtin was reportedly sentenced to 68 days in prison after she pleaded guilty to multiple criminal charges, some of which date back many years.  

According to court documents, the 28-year-old pleaded guilty to driving under the influence, driving without a valid license, vandalism, petty theft and possession of a controlled substance. In addition to her jail sentence, she was reportedly ordered three years of informal probation, three months in a first offender alcohol program and has to pay back any monetary damages she caused.  

Alexa allegedly had a warrant out for her arrest since December 2019 after failing to show up for a court hearing. She reportedly had five separate criminal cases pending against her and was sentenced in four, with one of the cases being thrown out.

Online records obtained by The Blast show that the former reality star was arrested on January 8 and released on January 26. Having previously spent time in jail for some of the charges, according to the recent report, she was released early.

Alexa has a sordid history with the authorities. It had been previously reported that back in 2017, she was taken into police custody for driving under the influence and was later charged in April 2018. She was reportedly charged in February 2018 for possession of drug paraphernalia after authorities found items allegedly used to smoke heroin. The Blast claimed that she then spent four days behind bars in August 2018 over drug-related warrants.

After being reportedly arrested again in January 2019 on suspicion of possession of Xanax and drug paraphernalia by the Irvine Police Department, she was charged with two misdemeanor drug charges, according to PEOPLE.

Alexa appeared in seasons 4 and 5 of RHOC alongside her mother, Lynne. The 64-year-old jewelry designer also shares daughter Raquel Curtin with ex-husband Frank Curtin. Lynne filed for divorce in April 2019 for the second time after nearly 30 years of marriage.

Alexa, for her part, tied the knot in November 2013 with Michael DeVecchio. After nearly six years of marriage, the two called it quits in May 2019.
