Heating Up! Scott Disick & Amelia Hamlin Are 'Smitten With Each Other,' Source Reveals

From fling to the real thing! It's barely been three months since Scott Disick was first spotted with Amelia Hamlin at a Halloween party, but their flirty romance appears to be turning serious. 

"They’re smitten with each other," an insider exclusively tells OK! about the duo, who were spotted getting cozy during a four-day getaway to Cabo San Lucas over New Year’s. Hamlin, 19, the daughter of Lisa Rinna and Harry Hamlin, "is so different from anyone Scott’s been with before," the insider says. 

"Scott does everything he can to make Amelia happy," the insider adds.

"She's beautiful, funny and has self-confidence that he finds irresistible." So much so that Disick, 37, may even be ready to take the next step! "They had such a good time in Mexico, and one night while partying with their friends Scott did a shocking thing and proposed to Amelia," spills the insider, adding that the model "said sure, and everyone laughed and cheered."

While the duo's certainly enjoying each other's company, the source cautions that the proposal "was in the heat of the moment. So no one knows if it'll actually stick or not." Oh, lord!

After the two sparked dating rumors in October 2020, they have since been spotted out to dinner and packing on the PDA while in Santa Barbara, Calif. 

On Thanksgiving, the model posted a slew of photos, one of which featured Disick and another friend. "Thankful 4 these PPL," she wrote at the time.

However, fans are still holding out hope that Disick will get back together with his baby mama, Kourtney Kardashian. 

"Take a bow,” Kardashian captioned a photo of herself posing in front of a mirror.

“Bow wow wow yippi yo yippy yay," Disick wrote back. 

Naturally, fans took a moment to talk about their fun banter. "Get married already," one person wrote, while another echoed, "JUST GET BACK TOGETHER ALREADY." 

But a third person said a reconciliation is out of the question since Disick has a certain type. "As if. Kourtney is over 21, everyone knows he likes them under 20," they wrote.

Despite being on good terms, it looks like Disick and the KUWTK star are just pals — for now — and he can focus on Hamlin. "Scott is so happy that he and Kourtney get along so well and how easy it is with her," a source previously dished. "It's weird to everyone else, but not to them. They are really like best friends."
