Scott Jennings Calls Jon Ossoff a 'Garbage Human' While Defending Natalie Harp and Blasts Senate Democrat's Criticism

Conservative commentator Scott Jennings, who is rumored to be a contender for the next White House press secretary, sparked intense debate after exploding in anger on CNN and on the radio over Democratic Sen. Jon Ossoff’s remarks about White House aide Natalie Harp.

During a re-election campaign rally, Ossoff targeted President Donald Trump, claiming that the president was ignoring his official duties to "travel with Natalie on their apparently defenseless flying palace.”

The comments hit a nerve, infuriating Trump allies and leading to a fiery on-air clash.

Appearing on CNN's Laura Coates Live, Jennings slammed Ossoff as a "despicable coward" for utilizing "sexism and misogyny as a joke.”

He argued that Ossoff was insinuating that Harp — a bone cancer survivor who rose to serve her government — was acting as a "concubine" for the president.

“He’s talked up as the future of the Democratic Party by all the pundits on cable TV,” Jennings claimed of Ossoff and his presidential ambitions, adding that “he thinks the way to cement his path to the Oval Office is to slander a talented young woman as nothing more than a pretty young companion for the president.”

He also said the rising Democratic star was an “absolute weak coward,” who wouldn’t “own” his comment.

“The implication is that a professional woman couldn’t possibly have earned her position of trust in the White House without sleeping her way to the top,” Jennings claimed.

Jennings' fierce defense quickly escalated into a shouting match with fellow panelist Ashley Etienne.

Etienne, a former communications director for Kamala Harris, dismissed Jennings' reaction as "fake outrage.”

She pointed out that Trump has an extensive history of hurling sexist insults at women without Jennings ever calling him out.

Jennings repeatedly interrupted Etienne, shouting forcefully, "I am REALLY outraged," and telling her not to misrepresent his feelings.

Coates stepped in to silence Jennings, noting that Ossoff never explicitly made the sexual insinuations Jennings claimed. Coates also challenged Jennings' hypocrisy, asking why he doesn't show the same passion when the political right routinely attacks female journalists.

Playing to an audience of one in the Oval Office, Jennings laughably said men like Ossoff “are despicable cowards who use sexism and misogyny as a joke, who think they can get ahead by smearing a cancer survivor and a loyal American who is simply serving her government.”

Harp, 35, has served as a devoted executive assistant to Trump since 2022. She is widely recognized in political circles for her constant, unyielding presence at Trump's side.

Harp earned this moniker for following Trump almost everywhere with a portable printer to feed him a continuous stream of news articles, social media feeds and printed reading material.

New York Times journalist Maggie Haberman noted that her role goes beyond that of a normal aide, describing her as a "comfort blanket" and a “human binky” who provides constant validation to the president.

Reports indicate that Harp's extreme devotion has caused friction and alarm among top-level Trump campaign officials.

A recent report highlighted a 2023 incident in which Harp engaged in a screaming match at Trump Tower after being denied a seat in Trump's vehicle, leading her to climb into the trunk of an SUV to stay close to him.

Campaign staff also reportedly denied her a bedroom at Bedminster over the summer in an unsuccessful attempt to create distance between her and the president.
