Taylor Swift & Joe Alwyn Enjoy Romantic Cornwall Getaway, 'People Think An Engagement Could Be On The Cards,' Source Spills
Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn seem to be as strong as ever.
The lovebirds recently enjoyed a getaway in Cornwall, England, and there's growing speculation that the pair could settle down together soon. According to The Sun, Swift and Alwyn flew from her Nashville home to London last week before they headed to St. Ives in Cornwall.
The couple reportedly rented a home in St. Ives for three nights before flying back to the U.S.
"Taylor’s a superstar and obviously very wealthy, so she can travel almost anywhere she wants at any time," an insider pointed out to the publication, adding: "But to go that far just for a few days clearly meant a lot to them."
"It feels like things are getting more serious and people think an engagement could be on the cards. That could explain such a long journey to a specific place," the source continued, per the outlet.

The source added that the "London Boy" singer is keeping mum, "but they’re certainly very happy and enjoying their time together."
The low-key couple, who often keeps out of the public eye, first hit it off in 2016 and reportedly became even more serious after living together during lockdown amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
An OK! insider previously spilled that while the "Love Story" singer has been "collecting bridal magazines and wedding ideas since she was a teen," she and Alwyn will most likely have an intimate ceremony when the time comes.
According to the insider, Swift has become "like a recluse, seldom venturing out from their London apartment or her Nashville home where she's holed up with him." Her pals think Alwyn will, "ultimately nix the lavish nuptials Taylor's long envisioned," in favor of a "quiet ceremony with family."
Though she keeps her romance with Alwyn on the down low, the "Wildest Dreams" songstress previously revealed to Elle that the opinions of strangers has impacted how she saw her own relationships, which was something she's worked on.
"Whether it was the general internet consensus of who would be right for me, or what they thought was 'couples goals' based on a picture I posted on Instagram. That stuff isn’t real. For an approval seeker like me, it was an important lesson for me to learn to have my OWN value system of what I actually want," she shared at the time.
