COUPLES'Real Housewives of New Jersey' Star Teresa Giudice Is Engaged To Luis Ruelas After A Year Of Dating
Teresa Giudice is getting her happy ending: The TV personality is officially engaged to Luis "Louie" Ruelas after a year of dating.
According to PEOPLE, the businessman proposed on Tuesday, October 20, during a romantic getaway to Porto Heli, Greece. In photos obtained by the outlet, the happy couple sported matching white outfits while posing in front of an oversized, lit "Marry Me" sign at the Amanzoe Resort.
Per the outlet, Ruela had a violinist, sparklers, candles, roses and a fireworks display to help set the tone before he popped the question. Giudice's former Real Housewives of New Jersey co-star and close pal Dina Manzo and her husband Dave Cantin were also on hand to help the lovebirds celebrate.
It was only a matter of time until the pair took the next step in their relationship: As OK! previously reported, the Standing Strong author and dad-of-two recently moved into a $3.4 million home in Montville Township, New Jersey. The two showed off their new digs on social media, posting videos on Instagram of the property's sprawling grounds and long brick driveway.
Giudice and Ruelas began dating in November 2020. The two went Instagram official that December — just one year after the TV personality called it quits with longtime love Joe Giudice after 20 years of marriage.
The former couple — who share daughters Gia, Gabriella, Milania and Audriana — went their seperate ways several years after pleading guilty to 41 counts of fraud. Though both Teresa and Joe served time behind bars, the construction worker was deported to his native Italy following his release from prison. He currently resides in the Bahamas.
Though the two ultimately called it quits, Teresa and Joe appear to be on good terms — so much so, that he was introduced to his ex's now-fiancé in April, when the Celebrity Apprentice alum, Luis and their respective broods went to the Bahamas.
