Tori Spelling Seemingly Shades Dean McDermott, Alleges Their Tumultuous Marriage Is Holding Her Back
Sending a message? As Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott's relationship continues to crumble, the actress appears to be making it clear that she's better off on her own.
On Wednesday, October 27, the blonde babe shared a cryptic post to her Instagram Story, seemingly hinting that her turbulent marriage to the actor is holding her back. "Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate," she declared, "Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure."
While not directly addressing what's going on in her relationship behind closed doors, Spelling recently proved to be thriving on her own after enjoying a girls' night out with pal Whitney Cummings.
After the 48-year-old sat down with her friend and guest host on The Wendy Williams Show, the ladies went out on the town. Apart from Spelling flaunting her edgy new look, she and the comedian — along with three other friends — dined at Carbone, smiling and clinking their glasses together for some fun-filled selfies.
Spelling appears to be doing OK when surrounded by friends; however, an insider spilled that she feels "trapped right now" in her marriage to McDermott. Noting the Beverly Hills, 90210 alum has been "miserable" and "wants a divorce," the source confessed the mother-of-five remains married to the 54-year-old "for the kids."

Despite Spelling feeling trapped, it looks like McDermott is the one ready to pull the plug.
The estranged couple allegedly got into a blowout disagreement after McDermott returned from being MIA for two days, which sparked a separate argument. Upon his return from taking space from the actress, McDermott allegedly told his wife he was planning on suing her for alimony and child support.
Despite the fact that the two — who share children: Liam, 14, Stella, 13, Hattie, 9, Finn, 8, and Beau, 4 — have a prenup preventing McDermott from getting money in their split, Spelling "recently learned that McDermott could still sue her for child support if they split," an insider spilled, adding that she went "ballistic" when she found out.
Speculation surrounding Spelling and McDermott's relationship has been circulating for months, ever since they were spotted earlier this year without their wedding bands. In September, a Radar source said the couple's split was "imminent," with another insider revealing they have been done for months.
Despite trying to save their marriage of 15 years, "Dean’s sex addiction became too much for Tori," explained the source. "He absolutely did not cheat, but he just wants sex all the time." McDermott may have not cheated this time around, but he admitted in 2013 that he had been unfaithful with the couple's nanny.
