Tory Lanez Reportedly Shouted 'Dance Bi**h, Dance' At Megan Thee Stallion While Shooting At Her Feet, Rapper Allegedly Tried To Bribe Her To Keep Quiet
New details surrounding the alleged shooting involving Tory Lanez and Megan Thee Stallion have been brought to light.
LAPD Detective Ryan Stogner took the stand on Tuesday, December 14, during a preliminary hearing and claimed Tory shouted "Dance b***h, dance!" while shooting bullets at Megan's feet, eventually striking her, it was reported.
The detective claimed the Texas native told him Tory was drunk during the shooting incident in July 2020, reported TMZ. In light of the horrific event, Tory — real name Daystar Peterson — is now facing one count of assault with a semiautomatic firearm in a manner that caused great bodily injury, and one count of carrying a concealed, unregistered weapon.
The detective said the shooting happened in the Hollywood Hills around 4:30 a.m. after a party. The two rappers allegedly got into a dispute before Tory started firing off the weapon.
He noted the 29-year-old rapper was standing on the step board of their SUV while Megan was outside of it. As soon as shots rang out, she "immediately felt pain to her feet, observed blood, fell to the ground, and then crawled to an adjacent driveway of a residence," Stogner testified, per the outlet.

The detective also shockingly claimed the "WAP" rapper, 26, told him Tory apologized to her and begged her not to tell authorities about what occurred. The "Say It" rapper even allegedly tried to bribe Megan with money to keep her trap shut since he was on probation.
The LAPD officer claimed Megan initially lied to police and insisted her injuries were caused by stepping on broken glass. He then reportedly confirmed Megan's previous claim that after the murder of George Floyd, she was afraid cops would shoot Tory if she told them a Black man had shot her.
After Stogner's testimony, the judge ruled the case could move forward to trial, which is set to begin on January 13, 2022, per the outlet.
Meanwhile, Tory has feverishly maintained his innocence and pleaded not guilty to shooting Megan in November. If convicted as charged, the "Convertible Burt" rapper could be sentenced to up to 22 years in state prison.
