Wendy Williams' Brother Bashes Talk Show As 'Garbage' Without His Sister As Host Is Still Absent For Ongoing Health Issues: 'They Need To Figure Something Else Out'

Wendy Williams' brother is getting brutally honest about the new version of The Wendy Williams Show.
Tommy Williams, 54, took to Facebook to declare the daytime talk show isn't the same without his sister — who has been on hiatus from her beloved purple chair for months while she deals with ongoing health issues.
While the show has been studded with guest stars filling in during Wendy's absence — including Sherri Shepherd, Leah Remini and Michael Rapaport — the TV personality's younger brother isn't impressed.
In a video posted to a private Facebook fan-group, Tommy called the show "garbage" without his sister, while insisting he was "trying to be as respectful as possible," per The Sun.
"It's no dig at the people who are there," he reportedly explained. "They're just not Wendy…I've grown accustomed to seeing Wendy operate that show and handle it in such a way that was just patented by her."
The 57-year-old host has been sitting out from the show since September 2021 following multiple health concerns, including a breakthrough COVID-19 case, her battle with Graves' disease and "psychiatric" issues. Producers on the show have not yet made it clear when Wendy will be making her return or if she is even coming back at all.

Though Tommy may not be pleased with his sister's replacement hosts, the ratings on the Wendy-less show have been soaring since the guest hosts took over, leading producers to reportedly think about finding a permanent replacement — a suggestion that most likely wouldn't bode well with Wendy's younger bro.
"There is no other. I mean there are plenty of people that are talented, let them go out there and call the show their name and put a show in their name…You know, and let that, let that go," Tommy reportedly continued in the clip.
"But I think Wendy's show definitely needs a rerouting, and they need to figure something else out," he concluded, per the outlet.
Wendy appears to be on the same page as her brother, as she has reportedly stopped talking to the show's producers, leaving many to wonder where the show's future stands.
"She hasn’t been talking to anybody, not producers, not senior producers- no one," an insider stated, as OK! previously learned. "She has disappeared and the only line of contact production has is through her manager."
