The 57-year-old host — who has been sitting out from The Wendy Williams Show since July 2021 following a series of health woes — posted a video on her new personal Instagram account Wednesday, February 16, to assure her fans she is planning to come back "stronger" than ever.

In the clip, which was filmed by her son, Kevin Hunter Jr., the TV personality is seen walking the beach in Miami, Fl., while insisting she is "doing OK," as she plans to make a return to her beloved show.

While Williams referred to her time in Florida as "a break from New York," she still claimed to be working her way back to good health so she can return to the Big Apple. "New York is my heart," the ailing host insisted.

In the clip, Williams didn't directly discuss her ongoing health complications — which are believed to be caused by her battle with Graves' disease, a thyroid condition and rumored psychiatric issues — and instead said, "Everybody's got issues."

She also explained she's been working out and eating vegan and vegetarian to stay healthy in order to make a comeback to her show — which has continued to air with a series of celebrity guest hosts filling in.

"I wanna be all I can be and then get back to New York and get on down with The Wendy Williams Show," she stressed, while seemingly trying to shut down recent reports claiming she won't be returning to her coveted purple chair, as insiders claimed she's lost her spark.

As OK! previously reported, it was announced last week that Sherri Shepherd will be filling in as permanent guest host on the show, with a source dishing that "basically it is now Sherri's show."

Shepherd is expected to be taking over in September unless Williams is recovered by then — in which case she would be welcomed back to her show with open arms. However, if she is still unable to return, producers will reportedly be changing the name of the show.
