Calling all eligible bachelors: Wendy Williams is on the prowl for a new man — and he's got to be husband material.
The talk show host, 56, who ended her 22-year marriage to Kevin Hunter in 2019 amid rumors he'd fathered a child with another woman, "is ready for a serious commitment," spills an OK! source. "Wendy's been staying up until all hours of the night checking out guys online and on exclusive dating apps."
While the TV personality is "anxious to meet someone soon," says the source, he has to tick all the right boxes.
"She wants someone age-appropriate, fun, kind, independent and, of course, who has no history of cheating," dishes the source, noting that Williams has already got a few prospects in mind. "She's feeling very optimistic and even buying new perfume and clothes and jewelry for all the dates she hopes to have once lockdown lifts. She can't wait!"
Though Williams has long moved on from Hunter, she's not done dishing about her ex-husband — and recently had a lot to say about their decade-long marital problems.
While promoting her Lifetime flick Wendy Williams: The Movie, the TV talker spoke to Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live about the toxic love triangle she found herself in with Sharina Hudson, Hunter's alleged mistress.
"She was one of these less-than-smart women who moved to the big city with bright lights and she wanted to be a model," the mother-of-one said on WWHL. "You know how the girls with the sparkler champagne bottles at the club, they get people to spend more money, they dress scantily clad and things like that."
Williams added, "She made herself available to [Kevin]. She was very disrespectful to me. Do you know he had the nerve to tell me that she admires me."
Must we reiterate? When on a hot date with Wendy, leave the drama at home.
