The YouTube star shared a health update on Saturday, April 17, after being hospitalized the morning before. "I leave the hospital today, I have to wear this crazy brace for a few months," Star said via his Instagram Story while sitting in a wheelchair next to pal Lucas' hospital bed.

Lucas said he had to remain in the hospital because of "internal issues, due to [his] colon cancer."

In another update from the bathroom, Star added that "peeing has become a chore," before explaining that his brace is pressing against his bladder and making it hard to walk. "But this is going to keep my spine from healing wrong, and hopefully heal very straight," the makeup influencer continued.

Despite the traumatizing event, Star's sense of humor remained intact. He quipped that he and Lucas "won the Guinness Book of World Records for the most people telling us to die." However, Lucas added that the positive messages have outweighed the negative.

The accident occurred shortly after 8:30 a.m local time, Wyoming Highway Patrol Sergeant Jeremy Beck told PEOPLE. Star and "another person" were driving in his Rolls-Royce and "ended up losing control, drove off the roadway and rolled," due to black ice on the road.

In a later update, Star revealed his trouble with sleeping and the constant pain he's still in. After explaining that he has to sleep on his back for it to heal properly, even though he's a "side sleeper," Star said: "The pain medicine is kind of helping, but I've never felt anything like this before. It's like my muscles are on fire inside."

And while he might be in severe pain, that won't stop him from getting back to work. Star took to his Instagram Story on Sunday, April 18, while in bed getting glammed up. He insisted that the "show must continue" ahead of his company's 4/20 product launch.
