In an exclusive interview with RadarOnline.com, Jim said the producers staged the phone call Amber made to Teresa about her criminal proceedings. He claimed, "They asked her countless times to call Teresa about her criminal issues.”

Producers also insisted that Jim and Amber have cameras on them as they talked about the Giudices’ legal situation and impending prison time.
Jim said, "They wanted us to talk about it because they felt the viewing audience wouldn't understand it and because of my training, I could explain it.”

In fact, the Marchese family isn’t even interested in talking about Teresa and they felt it was unfair that Season 7 filming was put on hold because of Teresa and Joe’s legal problems.
